Watching One-Piece - Romance-Dawn right-now (because it's on TV) & Luffy comes-off quite different, at-least in the flash-back, in this "parallel-universe" or pilot. What-ever you want to call it.

Started reading early Egghead and I never realized Shanks can be that brutal lol. Kid pirates surrendered their road poneglyphs and were begging for mercy and he still had Dorry and Broggy obliterate their ship while everyone was on it.

The anime just got to this and the animation is ridiculous.

Yeah the anime knows how to make impactful scenes from the manga even better. A shame that the pacing is pretty abysmal throughout.

Damn, seen that BBC Iplayer on 1st September added the One Piece anime up to ep 206 (end of Skypeia), which is pretty huge, altho idk who'll watch it. THey already had DB SUper. Watched part of ep 1 and Arlong. quality seems to be 480p at best. First time hearing some of the soundtrack pieces in several years.

Got a little used to the English voices. Usopp and Hachi's are good (Hachi's makes me laugh lol), others are mixed but alright. Zoro's defo nowhere near as badass.

Also how tf are Genzo and Nojiko communicating via telepathy underwater?!

Still way behind on the manga but watched some clips of recent(ish) anime stuff. It's a shame the pacing is so fucked because the soundtrack is so goddamn good.

I've watched Wano and WCI clips (mostly of Sanji and/or Zoro) and it feels just like watching pre-skip One Piece when I was younger, in terms of how emotional it gets me. Sanji asking Zoro to kill him if he loses his mind, saying goodbye to his suit or speaking about Zeff.

Started season 2 of the live action. Opening scene was done well.

Bartolomeo & Sabo making an appearance at Logue Town was unexpected but a nice touch. Alvida fight sucked ass. Also Sanji didn't smoke once the whole episode. Don't remember if he did in season 1.

I knew it was in Barto's backstory I just forgot until I saw him creeping on Nami. Them including Brooke in Laboon's flashback was nice to see.

i never actually watched the anime verison and also never red the manga verison

but i have seen the live action version of one piece and its is really good lol

to me in my opinion season 2 is way better than season 1 lol
