Are you still in contact with him? He’s very active on twitter and I tried asking him about Dende in Movie 6, but he was busy. Probably still is with people asking him stuff on twitter all the time.

I talked to him a week ago. He is very busy indeed. He still claims Broli is the strongest in Dragon Ball though.

I’m thinking when he says Broly is the strongest it’s not literal. Broly’s power is always growing, so even though he only shows SSJ2 power at his absolute peak in the movies, he’d eventually grow to be the strongest.


If Gohan is in his Boo Saga level in M10, why does he do better than the SSJ Boys against Broly?

Broly is pretty much at old Testament god level. M10 > golden frieza that MF gets stronger every breath he takes.

The beam struggle against Broli clearly has SSjin Goten > Base Gohan. Toei just copy paste Gohan going from base to SSjin 2 like he did vs Kibito without taking into account the power chain. Simple as that. Movies are based on the anime and there is no bullshit power up in the movies that are not based on the anime.

After 10 years of hard work and analyzing everything regarding the movies and how they regard to the anime and manga to even the smallest detail possible, I dare you to ask me whatever you want regarding the movies and how they are comparable to the series so I can explain myself better

Hatchiyack ~ Perfect Cell seems solid as he is only stronger than M8 Broly, Broly has many time to evolve so he can get monster gains. Also, Koyama has acknowledged Broly's limits such as when he say that he is too weak to be compared with Beerus.

They wank this character so hard to where I, a person who had been debating for this character for over a decade, even disagree with. But i dont argue against it cause I notice they do the same dumb shit for Beerus, always making him stronger then what he had shown

And this timeline anime placement is nonsense cause the anime follows the manga unless fillers are involved, and fillers had goku and Gohan as ssj while the movie didn't. Even in the fillers of Buu saga when the villains saw Goku and Buu fight there are no movie villains. We always knew the movies took place before the cell games

Another limits Koyama mentions is that Broly cannot one shot the entire macrocosm in 1 go

He does say he can one shot a small universe, and he does say he can destroy the entire macrocosm in a couple of months, far superior to mere solar system

btw, the entire macrocosm is literally a 5D structure, hell alone according to him is 4D

I also think the same. A long time ago it was hard for me to believe that Broly was the most powerful or that he was so strong (far before I ever joined these forums), but with the passing of time I became convinced that this is so.

Everything that Broly demonstrates and that does not fit with his superior position does not mean that a "superior" character cannot happen to him. In this case, they are more low passes than anything else.

In the end, the limitations regarding a level assigned by someone through an inconclusive or half-finished analysis at best cannot be superseded by how the character is presented by his author himself. If a lot, I can agree that the heroes in his first film are based on the Perfect Cell arc and those of the second, at the beginning of the Buu saga, but the levels that someone can assign to Broly through statistics subjective are just that: subjective statistics.
