Also if I import a Sandslash or Nintetails from PokeBank does it keep it's original type? If so can I breed with a native one? They should have explained that a little.

I hate how the water starter looks girly as fuck. The whole "Don't judge my gender by my appearance" thing died down not that long ago but GameFreak had to bring it back.
