Popular arcs you dislike?

What are some arcs in anime/manga that are popular and widely regarded as good, but you just don't like.

For me, it's definitely the Chimera Ant arc in HxH. By far the worst arc in the series and just dreadfully boring and too long.
(Gog is going to stab me when seeing this)

- CP9 (One Piece)
- Dark Tournament and Chapter Black (Yu Yu Hakusho)
- Greed Island (Hunter X Hunter)
- Any Naruto Arc after the Chunin Exams
- Any Gintama Arc after Shogun Assassination.

May go into detail on those later on (other than the Freeza, Cell and CP9 Arcs which I've already talked about extensively in the Arc Rating/Review threads for DB and OP).

Hunter Exams and Greed Island arcs (Hiatus x Hiatus)

Any arc in Bleach

Chunin Exams arc in Naruto

Piccolo Daimao and RRA arcs in DB

The series Pluto in general

Skypiea and Marineford arcs in OP

All of Detective Conan

Dark Tournament arc in YYH

Freeza arc. It's good, it's consistent, it's narratively fulfilling (has a comfortable beginning, middle, and end), but the fact that it's pretty much a contained story means it drags on for far too long IMO.

The Android Arc is just meh to me. We went from having two strongest fighters (Goku and Freeza) in the universe to the bunch of robots that are capable wiping the entire Super Saiyan army. Despite the way they hyped it, I just don't get the feeling of it, thanks for Cell saving that meh arc for me.

If anything, Cell just made the arc worse by making the contradictive time travel laws even more nonsensical and his character just being a poor mish-mash of previous characters' traits.

Well true but he gives you the feel that he's capable of destroying the Saiyans since he has the cells of the greatest warriors ever. The Androids got absolutely nothing other than they're just robots.

Not when he removes practically every chance he has to kill them because of dumb arrogance. (Trunks doesn't count because he was worthless at that point anyway)

Well aren't most of the villains cocky? Arrogance/Ego is their best trait.

If anything, I'd say it's their worst trait. A little arrogance/confidence is good in making them charismatic, but amplifying it to the point it takes over their personality makes them all just seem like idiots.

I don't dislike it because I'm not a pretentious faggot, but CP9 was pretty bland. Not terrible, but just a bunch of okay fights, although the meaning behind them made them enjoyable.
