Possibility Of Elite Section

That's not what he's saying. 40 is a great number, but a small number to pick elites from. How do you draw the line between who is elite and who is not?

Not sure, a total post count could be a viable option, but depending on how high it is, it could take some time for a decent amount of members to get that far. Maybe a reputation level?

It's fine for a small forum that doesn't need an elite section. Small forums don't need special sections because the entire forum is technically it's own special section.

Forums like gamefaqs need private boards because they have thousands upon thousands of users.

An elite section might be going overboard. I think it is just desperate people trying to earn some sort of superior status over everyone else. Nobody should be classified as an 'Elite'.

On a serious note, no I don't think we should do this yet. However, if the forum continues to grow I can see why we would award users who contribute in a really good manner. I don't think it should be application based, it should be more like the Legend group on F.
