One thing that is a flaw in Super is that it lacks tension, due to happening before the 28th tournament arc where Goku and Co are in good shape. Do you think that Toei or Toriyama might make a continuation of Super or a new series after the 28th tournament? We could have a fresh new cast, but with the old characters still there.

It's the only way to make Super have any real stakes, so yes, I'd be highly in favour of this. Spending so much time with major conflicts when the whole point of the EoZ was it having become a time of peace after Boo's defeat and the retcons for it such as Bulma saying she last saw Goku 5 years ago or Vegeta knowing about Oob in the Super anime have made the series' continuity a joke and they've only got 3 years before the EoZ to cover material in anyway. The sooner Super's staff bring the series past the 28th TB, the better.

10 more years :LUL
Mfw it's gonna be BoG's 10 year anniversary next year and we're still not 10 years later than the Boo arc in Super lol
Dragon Ball hasn’t had stakes since the Boo Saga at least
To be fair, GT had the same problem of there being zero stakes since the evil Dragon Balls were seen being purified whenever the corresponding Shadow Dragon was killed and the TV Special that aired after the Baby arc (and before the last two arcs) spoiled that the world was in peace 100 years later.

100 years later is so far removed from the test of the series it’s obvious the planet would be in peace. And the special didn’t even spoil Earth blowing up in the Baby Saga, though that didn’t change anything anyway.

And come to think of it, Super keeps dancing around the notion of retconning EoZ with all the contradictions, so in hindsight the stakes were there… kind of. The FT Saga and the ToP also try raising the stakes without contradicting EoZ, but the former was the worst ending ever and the latter was pretty predictable, not to mention nobody cared about the other universes sans maybe 6 anyway :idk

Universe 6 was the only one worth getting invested in since they've teased Vegeta meeting the King of Saiyans in U6 since Super's early days. I can't even remember what the other universes were besides U11 and U9.

If Super ends up going past EoZ I think it will enter DBH territory. How can they keep surpassing the current levels with such ease? Black Freeza will likely be surpassed in the near future, so what comes after that?
