The only reason why this would be successful is because it would be a nostalgia trip for all of the NX buyers, but it seems like milking to the extreme when the real games were just re-released.

Of course it's just milking! They've always milked Gen I. We have R/B/Y, then a remake (FireRed/LeafGreen), then re-release on virtual console, and now yet another remake?
They're smart though, considering Gen I is the most popular due to nostalgia, despite its hilariously many flaws.

I'm aware, and neither will any future remake either! What I'm getting at is that, nostalgia aside, Gen I (the first ones) are actually pretty fucking horrible when you think about it.

The reason being is that I just found out that when Wi-Fi shut down for Generation 4 & 5, it actually didn't mean that you couldn't trade or battle with someone 10 feet away from you. I'm selling my faggot ass Gen 1 & 2 games and rebuying all the ones after than sans Black & White and Alphuckpenis.
