It is, but in Japan owning CP is like watching illegal tapes moreso than indirectly victimizing 12 year olds

Anyone know what "The Miburo" roughly translates to?

What Kenshi said. "Ro" just means wolf, whilst Mibu is a town in Japan's Tochigi prefecture.

So why does Saito never make any gains? You'd think with the threat of Shishio looming across the horizon for years he'd have gotten off his ass and trained instead of being a faggot lapdog for the gov :troll2

Starting to reread this manga as my memory is far superior to when it was back then. I might quit after Kyoto.

So far the early section of the manga was as decent as I remember it. I'm on to the Kanryu/Oniwabanshu section. I'm absorbing so much more this go.

That arc was rather good as a whole. Man, Kenshin is a fantastic manga up until the enishi bullshit. Not sure what is give it out of 10.

The Raijuta mini arc on the other hand.. fuck that shit.

I'd say the Jinchu Arc wasn't that bad for the first 2/3 of it, seeing as how it easily had the most character development out of any arc in the series. The climax was pretty disappointing, Enishi was a bland edgelord and the scene with Shishio was just blatant fanservice, though the scenes involving Kenshin's character development are enough for me to place it as slightly above average. Not on par with Kyoto at all as a whole, but still far better than the :trash that constitutes as a final arc for 90% of Shonen.

The final conflict with Enishi was what killed it for me. I don't remember the exact details but I recall his power up was absolute nonsense. But you're right, not as bad as most shonen.

Yeah he randomly revealed he got super-nerves from hating Kenshin too much lol. Funny thing is that could've come in handy when Kenshin got a resolve hax from him threatening to kill Kaoru and suddenly started beating his ass, but he acted like he'd have been stuck in that situation had it not been for Kujiranami's interference :cena

Whatever the Enishi arc is officially called, it is absolute fucking trash. It's honestly worse than I remember it being, and I'm only at the start of the battle with the Comrades. What trash.

Kujiranami or w/e his name is might be one of the deepest, well fleshed out characters in all of fiction.

Have any of you read this on Mangasee? Is this the official english translation? If so it's the first time I'm reading it. Very interested to see if anything is different.

Time to give this a good reread. I guess early 2018 was the last time I went through it, and my memory has forgotten much of the story. Looking forward to it.
