The unweighted boost for Goku at the 23rd Budokai is stupidly high, it doesn't even make sense. Goku probably gets something like 5-10x stronger from removing his weights.

In the Raditz Saga, I think he needs to have a moderate 2x boost to make the sequence work.

You have Kami stronger than Goku and Piccolo during the Raditz Saga. This is laughable. Kami wasn't even stronger than Less than Half Piccolo at the 23rd Budokai, 5 years ago!

1) There is no relaxed form. When they remove their weighted clothing, Raditz shits on their current power and tells them how it won't help them at all. Goku and Piccolo are shocked. It's crystal clear there isn't anything left in the tank except for amplified attacks. There is no more extra power.

2) When he was clearly depicted as being much more damaged than Gohan was when Gohan was stated be at less than half power.

All I can find in the Strength Checker is this:

Raditz: “Don’t make me laugh! To think that you’d try and face me with that level of power! This is what it means to not know your place!”

This comes right after him reading their unweighted powers. Does Raditz say that in Viz?

Yes. Unfortunately for us, the Strength Checker is indeed missing quite a few power statements. Perhaps that is the quote? Not sure. Going to have to check the Japanese Anime for that.

Goku said power is not everything AFTER Raditz says that, even with more units, they're no match.
So, Goku had no reason to brag about the extra PL units, when Raditz had already stated it wouldn't
make a difference.

I'm pretty sure they started showing their true powers while charging the Kamehameha and the SBC, unless Saiyan Saga Kamehameha is 2.2x and Weighted Kamiccolo is 5x Gingertown Cell.

Exactly. Raditz is in disbelief of their ki amplification abilities. Which is another reason I take issue with the scouter numbers. Tremendous ki amplification is just not suggested at all previously.

I just watched the anime for this battle sequence. Couple of things I think we have had mistaken.

1) Raditz only shows two levels of power.
2) Goku and Piccolo are not as optimistic about their chances as I thought...

Scouter numbers have completely blinded the community on this area of the manga. It's amazing really. They say, well the scouter numbers tell me everything and I don't have to look at this section. They couldn't be more wrong.

The unweighted boost is wrong. Piccolo's weighted blast is tanked nearly on a similar level King Piccolo tanked Goku's Kamehameha. There is a massive, massive difference in power here. Goku is actually one shotted. We've never seen Goku go down so quickly. Even King Piccolo could not one shot Goku. This is probably the only time he is ever one shotted in the story. Sure, plot plays a factor here, but the gap is indeed massive.

In retcon, it's not unreasonable to say they had more in the tank. Vegeta at Saiyans Saga supports us at this. Zombies.

Powers over 1,000 did him in. That would be Gohan and Piccolo's SBC. No retcon necessary.
