I am aware of your affiliation with another forum that promotes a list of communities (and on the list Oro Jackson is one of them) where members are told to go and promote/advertise said other forum. Please note that advertising is against the Oro Jackson community guidelines, and any attempt to advertise by you or any other member will lead to a permanent account suspension.

And just a tip too, as a founder of Oro Jackson to another upcoming community - gaining members through advertising or leeching of other sites will not help in the long run. Sure, they may be active for some time but over the longer period those who find your community interesting and join on their own - post and get involved out of their own will and are the ones that hang out and become loyal and dedicated members.

Create good content, be active on social networks and with hard work and dedication you'll be golden.

I also would request you to remove Oro Jackson from the list of sites that you suggest your members to advertise the forum.

As a precautionary measure, the forum's name is banned/censored on Oro Jackson so that links cannot be posted to it, and it cannot be mentioned.

Just reaching out in a friendly manner, as we do not want things to lead into any problems in the future.

It's just a way to make sure no one else goes there to post links for the forum, it's not a "bad word" If advertising goes against his board's rules, then his/her reasoning is understandable.

In a lot of ways, absolutely. Haters are gonna hate.

It will pass. Its only been a few days, and given time, this site will grow in other ways. PMing was a quick and easy way to start, and it had to be done.

Its natural for the established forums to give us the cold shoulder. Thats the world of business. But, like getting a kitten when you have already have a cat, they will hiss and swipe at first, but then they get use to each other and simmer down.
