- The arc's premise of the cast having to face an embodiment of their past actions and experiences already existed in the form of Cell, and was done far better in that arc.
- Most of the Evil Dragons had either one-note personalities or none at all. The only one with any slight level of complexity to him was Si Xing Long.
- It doesn't make sense for Goku and Pan to be the only ones searching for the Evil Dragons until the last battle.
- Pan was presented as being quite relevant to the level of Base Goku in this arc, yet got sidelined for far weaker fighters like Goten, Trunks and Gohan.
- Everything after Gogeta appeared was a Boo Arc rehash.
- Whilst I don't mind interpretive endings, the last episode presented so many unanswered questions about what happened to Goku that it took an interview with Nozawa many years later to give us the slightest insight into it.
