Not to mention Croc might even be able to beat Mihawk in the desert.

If Croc can dry up anyone then they're fucked. On Alabasta he started to dry up Luffy's sandals by touching the ground. And in a desert he could spam sandstorms all day.

Fishman Island I don't think so. He claimed he could gain an advantage at Marineford if he went in the water iirc. He was fighting Akainu so I doubt he meant he'd be > Akainu but yeah. Probably meant he wouldn't keep getting fucked over.

I don't see Crocodile being that high. Sure, he is more in shape than before but how is he stronger than Kuma, Hancock let alone Jinbei, or let alone Moria?

I think Moria has become too lazy and mentally weak. This guy was supposed to be a rival of Kaido somehow. Post TS Moria might definitely get in shape.

Well a large point about him at Thriller Bark was how lazy he got, seeing as how he literally says he'll just sit around and let his zombies do everything. Regardless of how strong he may've been before, though, he's not much as far as the warlords go now and is mostly only threatening if he can amass a strong zombie/zombie army.

Hancock is not below Jinbe. Hancock>Kuma

How is Crocodile Dofla's equal? Dofla was toying with Crocodile the whole time.

IIRC he wanted Crocodile to be his equal partner in taking over the new world, but Croc rejected by saying Dofla was below him. It might be anime exclusive though since I've seen the anime version of Marineford recently.

If it means that much to anyone here I can look it up to confirm it's in the manga too.

Just checked two translations that basically say "let's hook up/join forces." All I would take from it is "let's team up to beat this guy." Croc is the one who brings in the idea of equals/subordinates. Still, Dofla's general treatment of Croc seems to imply the sameish thing and they do clash.

The way I interpreted it was that he meant as equals based on Croc's reply. Also Dofla wouldn't stoop as low as request him to join if they weren't on some equal playing field.

Dofla and Crocodile both had a country to play a hero with. Dofla knew about Crocodile's history and how he played out smart, thats why he could use him for the new world.

Dofla has Kaido backing up. Why need Croco for strength?

I don't see how Dofla thinks the're equal. The next panel shows thatDofla was either fooling around to make him mad.

Yeah Dofla just at least considers him to be on the same tier. Dofla is most likely stronger.

As for why he would want another partner when he has Kaido? Kaido is a loose canon.

Both Crocodile and Dofla were playing with each other to some extent.

I think Dofla doesn't rely on strength, but rather on Crocodile's usefulness for intellegent plans. It was Crocodile who almost took over the entire world with discovered one of the strongest weapon on world and being a huge threat on WG.
