Both stop at Giran. While the Murasaki Brothers may put Giran in a bind, the Merry Go Round Gum would do him in.

Same as Animelover said. I'd also assume Giran was physically stronger than Silver given that he managed to hurt Goku's cheek with a sucker punch. If Murasaki somehow works around his Guruguru Gum, then he beats Giran but likely loses to Kuririn.

I recall having Ninja at 21st TB Krillin level and Silver at Bacterian's.

 

[Future Warrior]

Silver would probably beat some of the lower-end contestants such as RanFan and Yamcha but would fall short in physical strength against Giran. Murasaki has some techniques that can make him overcome that disadvantage but ends up losing against Krillin most likely.
