Did you like the force awakens when it first came out?
Yes.

If so,what made you do a 180 :eek:dawg
Getting over the fact that we were getting more Star Wars and stopping to think about how nonsensical the film truly was.

Nah, I just wanted to know your opinion on him. :troll :troll :troll

Meng, I need your help. I have an entrance exam on Friday and I only started barely studying yesterday. Even-though it's only a GCSE equivalent since my English grade wasn't up-to the standard. I haven't done GCSE studying in almost a decade and some of the stuff is hard to remember. Besides I got so used to auto-correct nowadays I even forgot how to spell some harder words that I wouldn't have had a problem with years ago (one of the ways technology has made us more stupid I guess).

What is the difference between a news-article and a news-report?

What is a rhetorical-device (even spelled rhetorical wrong before auto-correct :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm )?

Thought so. A great voice actor that shows an incredible ability to shift between vocal tones with his work as Kenshiro, Kinnikuman and Ryo Saeba. Really wish he'd reprise the former two roles again :cry

As you'd expect from the definition of a news report, it's just a report on a piece of news in the style you'd see on tv - little more than a synopsis of the events and interviews that doesn't go into detail as much as an article. With an article, the main difference is the depth of the news as its written form can cover far more perspectives than a news report normally would.

Also, the simple fact that an article is written whereas a news report is primarily vocal.

What is a rhetorical-device (even spelled rhetorical wrong before auto-correct :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm )?
They are any language technique used to have a specific effect on the reader. In other words, a blanket term for things such as repetition, alliteration, metaphors and (obviously) rhetorical questions.

There was another news-report as-well that I found. Like report-articles, I guess but yeah I think you're right one has more analysis and research in it, where-as the other just tells you what happened.

I still can't detect alliteration (unless it's really obvious). :troll :troll :troll

Do you find this OP moment a pretty good, remarkable one?

It can only be alliteration if it is really obvious anyway, since unless structuring a sentence in such a way, the atmosphere the alliteration allows will not appear.

It's easily one of the best moments in the series by far that shows Whitebeard as one of the best characters in the series.

As far as epic deaths of manly meng standing, however, Raoh's death from Hokuto no Ken >>>> Whitebeard's tho'. :CC

Which Vegeta's death do you find more epic or touching, the 1st or the 2nd one?

1st by far. It was a satisfying end to his character arc and would've been a perfectly fine place to kill him off permanently. The 2nd one had the potential to be better due to what it meant for his character, but was implemented poorly paced when only chapters ago he'd thrown any sort of growth he'd made for the sake of challenging Goku and it's not as though his sacrifice accomplished anything either, unlike his last words on Namek at least spurring Goku to embrace his Saiyan heritage somewhat.

Both can count as creative non-fiction, but only if the writer has their own literary style or flare.

That's what I was thinking too, even a leaflet could potentially count then yet it's treated as almost a yes or no answer.

In general, I'd say blogs and journals definitely count due to the personal touch, though leaflets don't count more often than not.

I wish there was more saga/arc based art-work. nah'mean?

Like for example Alabasta arc based art-work aside from Manga covers or something like that. Instead a-lot of times you only get random group-based shots or characters doing poses. Which are also great but I'd also like the saga/arc based ones because there are some but not so many.

I'd say it depends on the series, really. For instance, Hokuto no Ken had a lot of arc based artwork. It is becoming more rare when it comes to modern series, however.

Does One-Piece have any outside of manga/chapter/volume covers? Like CP9/Water 7 or Skypiea artwork with Eneru and the crew for the latter or anything like that? Maybe in officially released art-books or something.

There are a few that get featured along with a new chapter sometimes, though they're seldom art focusing on a specific arc and the most focus they have is usually to promote a new movie.

Who’s a Dragon Ball character you’d give a negative score in a character analysis?
I never go below a 1/10 when it comes to ratings, though Anime Jiren and Ribrianne do make it tempting.
