Have you read Oretama or watched Tekkaman Blade? I think I'm the only one here who's watched the latter.

Good track, though the constant nature of it without much change in rhythm holds it back from being a great track.

Haven't viewed either, though I've heard good things about the latter, whereas the former seems like one of those comedy series that can't go much further after it's premise (not to mention the loli on the cover is quite unappealing). I plan to watch Tekkaman once I've worked through the other series on my watchlist, though it's taking a while after becoming burnt out of watching anime to some extent.
Would you say any part of the Tekkaman franchise is worth watching beyond Blade? If so, is there a specific order I should watch it in after finishing the Tekkaman Blade series?

Tekkaman Blade 1 is good, 2 is straight ass and I couldn't manage to get past episode 2 of it. (Doesn't help that the mc is just a ditzy teenaged moe girl with a crush on D-Boy/Blade.) Just skip the recap episodes that tend to appear every 10 or so episodes due to the autistic budget they were stuck with at times and it should be an enjoyable ride barring some rushed plot points.

Tekkaman Evil (a secondary antagonist) is also one of the most memorable Koyasu performances for me, not to mention the late Suzuoki, Megumi Hayashibara and Toshiyuki Morikawa's performances are great too.

Do you think that a more suitting ending for the Boo saga would be Ultimate Gohan killing off Super Boo? The only problem I see with this alternate ending is that the Goku vs Oob scene in the final would lose a lot of its significance, but I think the Boo saga ending with the new generation finally taking Goku's 'role' as the protector of the Earth -- which was what Goku intended since the beginning -- to be a more fitting ending than Goku being the one to again solve thing in the end.

Yes. Anything other than Gotenks/Gohan killing Boo makes the end of the Cell Arc and Goku's actions in this arc's entirety meaningless.

It didn't have much significance, considering how rushed it was, not to mention the double standards of trying to set up Oob as the successor and Earth's new saviour when Gohan and Gotenks were denied of such so Goku could be the hero again.

Thoughts on Revenge of the Sith?
The most entertaining Star Wars movie purely by the virtue of it being the perfect unintentional comedy with it's hilariously bad dialogue (pretty much anything Anakin said) and bad tonal shifts (trying to be a lighthearted comedy at first during the Invisible Hand segment, only for that to clash with the dark aspects of Anakin killing Dooku in the same section). Speaking of Anakin and tonal shifts, his rushed development makes his arc within the film it's main flaw due to it making Anakin seem idiotic and mentally deranged. He chooses to be swayed by Palpatine purely by him alluding to knowing the secret to cheating death, yet is still fine with serving him even after Palpatine makes it clear he currently doesn't know such an ability to Anakin, with this followed by Anakin going from preaching about the Jedi Way and ideals to slaughtering children in the span of 5 minutes. There's plenty of other flaws I could mention, such as Dooku and Grievous being jobbers, Palpatine making it clear Grievous' death would end the Clone Wars and leaking his whereabouts to Anakin when accelerating the end of the war would put his attempt at gaining "UNLIMITED POWER" in jeopardy, Windu being an idiot by confronting Palpatine in his secluded office rather than in public, Obi-Wan and Yoda not having Padme show the temple's security footage to the Senate, etc. However, Anakin's rushed arc is easily the dumbest thing about the movie and the prequels as a whole.

This is more disappointing when RotS had far more potential than the other two prequels, which overall could be cut by 90% and still retain as much continuity with the OT as necessary. The fall of a tragic hero into an imposing villain like Darth Vader, coupled with Palpatine's political manoeuvring and rise to power (the latter one of the few things this movie and the prequels did somewhat well) could've made for a masterpiece in the right hands. In George Lucas' hands, however, it made for laughable schlock.
Well, at least it's still better than what the sequel trilogy currently contains.

2.5/10

A great melody, though I believe it's overrating it a fair bit to call it the true greatest piece of music of all time as many do.

They're alright, though the only one I really like is "What I've done".

Do you find Episode 1 tolerable?
Of Star Wars? Yeah. It's a bad movie overall, but still leagues better than Attack of the Clones, or either movie of the current sequel trilogy.

Which Star Wars character do you think should have a spin-off movie?
If I had to pick just one, Thrawn. If limiting it to movie-only characters, Palpatine or most prequel characters that needed fleshing out more (Dooku, Windu, Grievous, etc.).

What do you think of Bake-Monogatari or the Monogatari series in-general?
Bakemonogatari is decent as rule of cool for nice visuals and good play on words, but average at best if looking for something with substance from what I've seen. The other Monogatari works don't really seem worth watching.

Wasn't Galu seemingly affected by some sort of resolve hax? He stated he couldn't use blue twice, yet did it not twice but thrice and all.
