Will get back to you on that.

Thoughts on Jabba? Movie only.
Jabba was alright for what he was. He did well in playing his role as a digusting gangster villain, but beyond being entertaining in his appearance and mannerisms, his character didn't have much going for him. Without Expanded Universe material, he's just worth giving a 5/10 at most.

Both are pretty decent, though sound a bit too familiar to various other pieces of similar music enough to entirely stand out to me.

Really? I could perhaps agree with the first one, but I thought the second one wasn't really reminiscent of anything maybe different versions of the same music through-out the series but other than that I can't really say anything-else.

Well. it's not entirely so, though the general style of it gives it some vague reminiscence to other tracks I've heard. None in particular I can actually point out, but it does have a pretty familiar vibe to it.

Pretty good. I've heard instrumental versions of the first one, so I'm pretty familiar with it. Second one's alright, though I vastly prefer the instrumental parts of the song with the saxophone and guitar to the actual vocals.

There's an actual official karaoke version, but I can't find that on YouTube. There's this one as-well, though it's a bit different. This is the version Conan's Voice-Actor sang over for the Conan version of the song. It's a bit different, but still just a different version of the same song. I'll just post the Karaoke version of that, if you want to hear that. I'm not 100% sure whether this was the official one on CD or whether this was just manually done by the uploader of the video, but I think it's the former.

The instrumental is a beast too. :shc :shc :shc

I'm trying to find a version of Boku ga Iru that was purely instrumental that I heard in some episodes, but no luck so far.

Like any prequel character other than Palpatine, his personality was completely bland with little notable character traits to be discerned beyond just being Samuel L. Motherfucking Jackson with a Purple Lightsaber. His entire role in Revenge of the Sith was also absolutely stupid, considering not only was he just repeating the "I sense a plot to destroy the Jedi" line from the previous movie and doing nothing about it, but when he actually confronts Palpatine he does so in the stupidest of manners. He just barges into his office, a secluded place without any non-combatant witnesses, an act that could easily allow Palpatine to twist the events in a favourable light for him, as he does (something that's even expanded on in the novels). Also, whilst his act of trying to kill an unarmed Palpatine was a necessary one, it also shows how much of a hypocritical Jedi he was when Anakin of all people was reminding him that it wasn't the Jedi way.

2/10. Legends and other Expanded Material would bump him up to about a 4-5/10.

What do you think of these?

No need to worry, for some reason none of the tracks are that long.

What do you think of George Lucas's editions on the OT?
I think it's a very mixed bag. There were some changes I really liked, such as the improved explosion effects for the destruction of Alderaan and the Death Star in A New Hope, Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine in The Empire Strikes Back along with the updated backgrounds in Cloud City and the Victory Celebration track in Return of the Jedi being far more fitting for the conclusion of a Saga than Yub Nub. However, there were a comparable amount of flaws such as the poor CGI creatures (especially ANH Jabba), a few dialogue changes in Empire being pretty bad additions (eg. Palpatine telling Vader Anakin Skywalker's son was alive and Vader saying it's impossible when the opening text crawl clearly states Vader's looking for Luke Skywalker) and the less said about the "Jedi Rocks" track, the better (though it was pretty funny whenever it played on the original Battlefront II's version of Heroes VS Villains). Overall, I'd say the pros and cons are near enough equal, so I wouldn't say that the negative aspects of the Special Edition damages the quality of the films enough for me to give both versions entirely different ratings/reviews.

Sorry. Takes a while for me to analyse music. All the tracks are pretty good though some of them sound a little indistinctive in terms of offering a unique flare to the series (eg. the 2nd track sounds like something that could easily be mistaken as part of DB Kai's ost). Out of the osts posted, I'd say my favourite was Zetsubou.

It's all good. :nice :nice :nice

And I agree Zetsubou is one of the best tracks from the original series.
