Any version of the DragonBall opening is gr9, but the one I posted is easily my favourite (and most memorable one), IIRC.

Actually now that I looked again, this one might be my favourite (or maybe on-par. I can't decide. I can have 2 fav.s right?!). This one is probably the most iconic version though. I got that wrong as-well, when I called the other one the most memorable. :boy :boy :boy

Nah, on a 2nd thought and after some thinking I still think I prefer the first one I posted.

Yeah, I probably prefer the other two, but it's still great. My favourite instrumental versions of Makafushigi Adventure would probably be either the instrumental version used at the end of episode 13 or the fast paced version used in quite a few of the fights in the series.

Meng, both of those are gr9. There are so many gr9 instrumental versions used in the back-ground score for DragonBall. If I remember correctly, it's been awhile since I watched that again, but there was one also playing at the end of the episode where Goku was learning from Kami and he goes some-where fishing and someone shows him how to be calm or something. I think I liked that too, IIRC like I said.

Can you tell me what you think of these? A few of them are variations of Dan-Dan Kokoro Hikareteku, but that is one of the best things about DragonBall GT from what little I saw. I'm not sure whether the last one is same as one of the other ones, but I posted that anyway because I'm not sure and that's longer.

You can never go wrong with covers of Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku, so they're all great. Aside from those and the covers of Hitorijanai that are part of GT's soundtrack, I find GT's ost otherwise pretty average due to not having a real distinct style like Kikuchi or Yamamoto's scores, though still far better than the mediocrity that is Kai's Boo Arc ost and that of Super (bar a few certain Super tracks like "Days of Endless Battle" and the Ultra Instinct theme).

My favourite version of GT's opening in GT's ost isn't included there, however, which is this one:

I don't know how I missed that. That's gr9.

Wasn't the first one also part of GT's ost? Sounds similar to one of their tracks that plays a lot during the M2 events at least. Regardless, it's decent as is the 2nd one. Not something that could view as melding in seamlessly to Kikuchi's score, but tracks that generally fit with DB during it's run in the 90s and would stand out amongst GT's score if not part of it already.

I'm not sure, though the comments on the video also seem to say that. I've never really watched DragonBall GT, so I can't tell. I mainly came across these when I wanted to see how the fight between Goku and Yamcha was done in Path to Power.

Also the second one, IIRC isn't that very similar sounding to the track from the DragonBal series? Maybe that's just a re-done version.

The opening part with the saxophone is somewhat similar to the track that plays every time Muten Roshi's thinking of perverted thoughts or a female character's being portrayed in a sexual way, though that's the only major similarity I could note from Kikuchi's score. You could say it sounds a bit like a mix between several of his tracks from the original series with the stylistic tone of GT's soundtrack, but that's a fairly vague comparison.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The track always played when something perverted, funny was happening, IIRC.

You can check page 100 for the closest thing I have to an answer, but the short of it is perhaps I reply more diligently or maybe people are interested in the reviews I posted? That's the closest thing I can think of.

How is B5 going for you?

How badly do you think Freeza gets stomped by Broly? Worse than the GoD Toppo beatdown? (Ignoring that he pops back up next episode lol)

Only had time to watch up to episode 8, but I'm really enjoying the setting and characters, especially learning more about the Earth-Minbari War.

Probably not as bad since it didn't seem like he was getting completely stomped in the trailer and didn't seem too fatigued to be limited to his base self. That's assuming he only fights Base Broly and doesn't pop up later to take on :pakl with Galu and Vegeta.
