Didn't really mind the redubbing, tbh. It at least fits with the prequel continuity better, so beyond it limiting the role of the original actor, there's not much I have to complain about it.

I do have respect for a select few of the members there such as Herms for his translations and MistareFusion for his analysis of the DB franchise as a whole (not sure if he's a member there, but he has strong ties to members such as Herms and is worth a mention). However, the way most of the members act in regard to what is and isn't set in stone in power debates and the cognitive dissonance of the mods when it comes to what is and isn't acceptable hinders them greatly. It's still far better than the other mainstream forums for debating DB, but that's not saying much.

I have seen several sitcoms, though the general sitcom format isn't something that really appeals to me anymore due to most lacking the plot continuity or consistent quality to keep them engaging for too long.

Do you think Queen bounty is so high due to being in Kaido’s top 3, or do you think he’ll have the power to back it up? Considering Kaido has resided in Wano for 20 years, hidden from the government, Would that not imply that bounty was set at least 20 years ago?

Being one of Kaido's elite would be a major factor towards this. I doubt it'll necessarily correlate with power when comparing him with other high bounties used as measuring sticks as it'd seem a bit much for Kaido's 2nd strongest subordinate to surpass Big Mom's strongest, not to mention it'd require a lot more contrivances than what's already necessary for the Straw Hats to inevitably defeat Kaido is his #2 commander is already above Gear 4th Luffy.
Whilst Kaido has resided in Wano, it hasn't been constant from what we've been lead to believe. It's known he got into a fight with Shanks' crew just prior to the Summit War and he visited a sky island before throwing himself below around the time of the Dressrosa Arc, so it's apparent he still leaves Wano from time to time. The same can easily be said of his subordinates.

Not really. There's a few from the 80s and 90s I find OK, as well as some J-Pop, but I don't go out of my way to listen to the genre.

I guess if comparing him to other Yonko commanders, stronger than Katakuri but weaker than Marco purely based on how the power progression has been recently such as Cracker > Doflamingo. Honestly not sure how the Straw Hats will handle him, Queen and Kaido without Luffy's prison time resulting in a Zenkai and the other members such as Zoro getting contrived power ups. Only concievable option right now is Oden's allies pulling their weight against the commanders.

I would say in regard to the Big Mom Pirates' loss, however, that he did have the range and reach advantage on them whilst they were travelling by ship. In a fight on land, things may have played out differently against Smoothie and co. I still think he'd win from his rank alone, but not soundly.

The 9 retainers will likely fight Orochi.. Zoro and Sanji will need extremely unrealistic power ups to have any chance imo. If Kawamatsu, Ashura, and other ally can take out King or Queen, maybe Zoro and Sanji will double team? It's simply inconceivable for the two of them to surpass G4 Luffy, although Zoro would make more sense.. The 2 big minks should beat Jack.

Thoughts on using the old prison guy as a way to gather up Samurai?

Thoughts on Kuffy getting "training" while using the sea stone handcuffs? I think its bs

I have doubts on if Hyogoro will simply be able to gather all the Samurai without problem. Even with his experience, he lacks the strength or resources his old position provided him. At best, I see him gathering one hard to find member, with him instructing Raizou and Kawamatsu on how to find the other members.

Luffy's prison training was indeed bs. The fact he can move around and fight to a fair degree compared to being completely drained as recently as Punk Hazard is a major inconsistency, so having him suddenly become so resistant and getting even stronger from it is absurd. Considering what we've been lead to believe, him surviving harsh battles against Katakuri and Kaido, whilst cheap, would've been a far more consistent way to justify any sudden power up.

Completely agree.. but weren’t the handcuffs on Ounk Hazard the actual thing? These ones were said to let the user complete the bare minimum f their strength.

That'd be acceptable if Luffy could only do just that. Instead, he went from getting more sapped from them than Smoker was to stomping a relatively high ranked member of Kaido's crew.

Queen is seen having 2 swords iirc.. Do you think Sanji will actually be his main opponent?

It'd make things less formulaic than Zoro always fighting the swordsman and would act as a good experience for Sanji when he tends to take on the martial artists, so I'd say he'd be a good opponent for Sanji if he has some help taking him on.
