Skyler smoked because she was distressed with the whole situation, despite knowing the harm it could do to her baby. That ain't inconsistency imo.

@Captain Cadaver Chapter 9 is the end of the UDB arc in my rewrite, so once you finish it, can you do a more in-depth review of which aspects of the arc were improved by my rewrite and which aspects were not?

Considering she was presented as an attentive mother and there were many other ways to relieve stress, it's an inconsistency. Not a major one for her character, but still one that's easily noticed.

I can. I'll probably reserve my response until I've completed Chapter 9 if that's the case to cover the remaining parts of it all at once.

Again, she was in distress. You can be a protective mother and still slip in your ideals depending on the circumstances. If anything, that was a good scene as it shows how we humans are many times. A contradiction of our ideals based on external influence isn't an inconsistency.

By far. It permanently established the way races such as elves and trolls are portrayed in fantasy despite the differences from their mythological origins, heavily emphasised the importance of crafting a deep and intricate history for one's world and its influence can still be seen in many fantasy of the modern era such as A Song of Ice and Fire or the many works to use Orcs/Orks as a race such as Warhammer or Dungeons and Dragons.

That's a bit more of a debatable one since, as large as Star Wars is, it was fairly late in the history of sci-fi compared to works like Star Trek, Flash Gordon, the novels of writers such as Isaac Asimov or Arthur C. Clarke or comics such as those of DC and Marvel, as well as films in the genre having already become hallmarks of pop-culture during the 60s. Star Wars certainly had a huge influence when it came to more fantasy-driven sci-fi as well as certain pieces of iconography such as the lightsaber, but it was far from being a patriarch of the genre's modern image.

Three things stand out a lot about it. Firstly, it highlights the amount of time and effort that goes into crafting practical prosthetics in a realistic way. Secondly, it shows that Vince Gilligan is a professional director in that he was adamant on doing as many takes as necessary until the scene was shot perfectly, the desire to strive towards perfection rather than settling for something less being something all creators should strive towards and what's becoming a dying standard in modern media. Thirdly, it's apparent Bryan Cranston can be a good comedian when he wants to be :alex2.

It's good at several parts, mainly the intro and the other parts the violin is present. The instrumental version does make it apparent how repetitive the tune can be at certain points, but other than that it's fine.

Even if it's a joke (of which I'd assume it is with the telling statement of "though these fans have only seen The Last Jedi :alex2 ), that's cringey as hell.

If it's in its cannabis oil form, then yes as that has several medicinal properties far better than the more common version. For the more standard version, however, no as it can still cause several problems depending on the user such as paranoia, lack of awareness, etc. No for similar Class-B drugs as well since the rest of them seldom have any benefits.

Don't you think alcohol and tobacco should be regulated too, by that logic? They're much more addictive than weed.

What's something (hobby, game, manga, book etc) that you expected you'd like, but didn't? And vice versa.
