Captain Cadaver said:Akkuman is oneshot material to Gohan, so he won't prove a decent distraction. The most Taopaipai will be able to do is draw blood as he did against Galu, but not much more. Gohan wins with mid-diff at most.
Oneshotting is plot dependant, and Kuririn and Gohan were never explicitly shown or stated to be necessarily oneshot material. They'd also have far better teamwork than two people who have very little experience in fighting as a pair.GreatSaiyaman123 said:Weren't Kuririn and Gohan also one shot fodder to Freeza though? And they were still useful according to Vegeta.
It would still take more than a single punch/kick for Vegeta to oneshot Dodoria, which is far more than can be said for Akkuman fighting against Gohan.p123 said:How? You guys are crazy. Zarbon and Dodoria can definitely beat Vegeta.
Kuririn is a seasoned martial artist with a good variety in techniques. Whilst Akkuman ought to have some credibility when having won a Tenkaichi Budokai, he seems a one trick pony with just his pitchfork and Akkumite Beam going for him, the latter of which is restricted here. Hardly a fair comparisonp123 said:There is power in numbers. Krillin made himself useful against Nappa and Freeza. He should have technically been one shotted, but do to having help, he wasn't. Plot too of course, but that's besides the point.
An off-guard attack interrupting a 1 on 1 battle between opponents fighting on roughly equal levels, if not Ginyu having the advantage, is hardly comparable to a battle where one character knows both opponents will be working as a team and one of the strongest of the two's greatest accomplishment was dealing some very light, superficial damage to an opponent who was Gohan's equal.Gohan is going to have his hands full with Tao. Devil will be able to offer some help. Jeice is one shot range to Goku, yet he makes all the difference in the world when Ginyu fights Goku. That really goes to show you how much of an effect having one person on a similar level changes this.
Which as I said, means little when aside from raw power he only has his pitchfork going for him.p123 said:Devil Man is a seasoned martail artist. He's a two time Budokai winner.
Which is irrelevant when the OP specifies the Akkumite Beam isn't allowed. His Devil Mite Beam has a chance to solo every single character in Dragonball Z/Super and so on.
He states Goku is superior yes, but the actual feats show it's not by much, likely only by a minimal amount. Taopaipai shouldn't be capable of performing any better against Gohan given how much difficulty the old man gave Goku, even ignoring the tail grab.Gohan states Goku is superior. Tao got beaten handily by Goku, but Tao is no slouch. Gohan will have less of an advantage and with some help. This should even be a topic.
Not only are the two situations hardly comparable when taking into account Kuririn's feats of skill far surpass those of Akkuman's, but there's little, if any, evidence what you say here would indeed be the case when Vegeta was tooling Zarbon and Kuririn is fodder to both. If you want to defend this point, you could at least use a more solid example from the series such as say, Gohan + Kuririn + Vegeta > Transformed Freeza. This is like Zarbon vs Vegeta except Zarbon now has Guru Powered Up Krillin to help him. Vegeta wouldn't have a chance.
