SS4 Goku stated he could handle attacks at 6,000 degrees, while DBS Goku told Bulma he would die while being around earth's core, probably taking account into his Super Saiyan Blue form too.

He can't breathe in the Earth's core can he? He needed to catch a breath in his fight against Beerus and Freeza (in the movie, dunno about anime), so that could just explain it.

I don't think the anime is even consistent about this considering that Toei somehow had Gohan think lava could kill Broly when it did nothing to Goku on Namek.
