SSJ Grade 3 = 10x?

This comes up on Neo every once in a while, but what are Zeta’s thoughts on this?

I thought that the USSJ (SSJ Grade 3) is the equivalent in strength to ASSJ2 (SSJ2 Grade 2). The ASSJ is the maximum power that is not enough to slow down and the more muscles (greater than the ASSJ) the more strength, but less speed.

Something like this:

SSJ = 50
ASSJ = 100
USSJ (Strength) = 400
USSJ (Speed) = 25

Both can use all their techniques. Scenario 1: Gogeta does not know the technique of Forced Splitting of Vegeta's Spirit. Scenario 2: Both are aware of their respective techniques.

The Multiplier doesn't matter, it's about efficiency.
Grades 2 & 3 could be x5 x10 or 30 or 40, just means it takes a Buff/Boots for those states to get to that level of raw power whereas Grade 4 gets there & beyond naturally & easily without a Buff/Boots.

Yeah, it seems reasonable. Goku surpassing Initial Semi Cell with Grade 3 practically requires that to be the case.

Theres no way you think 10 and 9.2378484838383 have the same chances of being used as hyperboles, they just arent comparable but believe what you want ig.

Your claim of 10 being hyperbole is super arbitrary and unjustified. You just don't like the implications it brings for Grade 3.

By that logic, one could say Vegeta was using hyperbole when saying the Saiyans become 10x more powerful when becoming Oozaru, too.

Toriyama said that a 50x multiplier was an exaggeration which is practically a hyperbole but he acknowledged that this was the case. An example of hyperbole would be when Cell stated Gohan wouldn't beat him if he trained for 100 years (or something along those lines). This is factually incorrect but it's just there to illustrate a significant gap. You would need to prove that the 10x multiplier was exaggerated in the first place and I don't see the evidence for that. It's given a concrete multiplier as is the case with all transformations. And that's coming from someone who disagrees with the SEG multipliers given for SSJ2 and SSJ3.
