SSJ2 Goku (Boo Saga) vs M10 LSSJ Broly

ought to win. Koyama's statement about Broly being "The strongest Saiyan" should apply for those around the time of Movie 10. This would include Cell Games SS2 Gohan, who SS2 Goku is only slightly stronger than. Doubtful M10 Broly would fit in that small gap, nor is there any reason to fit him in there. Goku may have a shot if he gets an opportunity to fire a Shunkan Ido Kamehameha, but it's doubtful he'd get such.

I never understood how his comment makes Broli stronger than everyone before.. Broli was set up as the strongest saiyan prior in movie 8 due to his LSSJ form but even if it means what most say, he doesnt need to be stronger than Goku.. Also Gomu was not slightly ahead of Gohan... Vegeta said Goku was stronger than Gohan so he must be stronger by a sizeable gap at least or otherwise his comment would be irrelevant...

If Broly was set-up as the highest Saiyan then logic dictates that he's the highest Saiyan of what-ever era movie he appears in.

Also the Daizenshuu states Broly > Goku, when talking about his Super-Saiyan power but seems to be talking about power in-general and just didn't know what to specifically write for his Super-Saiyan state.

If Gohan was SSjin2 against Broly then I don't think Goku can win at all. That's just how strong Broly is.

I give this to Goku. I don't think Broly was THAT much stronger than Gohan. He tanked a punch, but couldn't do the same for following blows that came from Gohan and even got outmuscled by him. M11 has Goku being told to deal with Broly in Hell and mentions in the following movie that Buu is the only person (aside from Janemba) that required him to use SSJ3 and I don't think Paikkuhan would've been much help to Goku, so I think SSJ2 is all Goku needs to dispatch Broly.

M11 has Goku being told to deal with Broly in Hell and mentions in the following movie that Buu is the only person (aside from Janemba) that required him to use SSJ3 and I don't think Paikkuhan would've been much help to Goku, so I think SSJ2 is all Goku needs to dispatch Broly.

Broly literally spooked him and made a laughingstock out of him. Gohan fainted after he managed to free himself from Broly's assault and he barely did that anyways. Movies don't scale to the canon counterparts since Bio Broly is above his Movie 10 counterpart, and Movie 8 Broly is arguably superior to Super Perfect Cell with utmost ease. Daizenshuu 6 says Gohan used all his power just to let Broly fall into lava yet Broly survived and he was pretty much looking rather alive. Goku taking care of Broly with Pikkon is something normal since Goku in Movie 11 > His canon counterpart and Movie 12 and 11 might not even correlate with each other since they don't share the same pattern of history at all

2kewl4u already covered the first part. As for the Goku/Vegeta and Gohan comparison, Piccolo only being able to say Vegeta was "perhaps" above CG Gohan makes it apparent the gap isn't sizeable, unless for some reason you assume Piccolo is terrible at sensing Ki compared to Vegeta.

I like to think that Broly LSSJ (M10) is a bit stronger than Goku SSJ2 (Boo). Goku SSJ2 (Boo) with the help of Pikkon could defeat Broly LSSJ (M10).

I put M8 Broly on CG Gohan Level (I don't believe M8 Z-Fighters = CG Z-Fighters) so I'd see FP Perfect Cell wasting M8 Broly without too many issues. The boys together were able to do decently against Bio Broly when they couldn't even faze M10 Broly. Usually I go with Movie Counterparts being on the same level as their canon counterparts with some exceptions

Goten and Trunks are easily argued to have gotten stronger since they're confident in taking Broly before even sensing his power. Takao Koyama implies Bio Broly > M10 Broly and most guides and descriptions place Bio Broly as the strongest Broly

Broly M10 beats him in 3 hits. Read the guides, Gohan literally wasted all his power against Broly, and he got 3 shot while tanked. Gohan wasn't even Broly league to begin with. SSj2 Goku gets maulled

Broly 1 hand was overpowering 3 SSJ with a 95/5 advantage. Broly is easily high tier SSj2, if not SSj3 tier in LSSJ.
