I can just as easily say that the Gotenks quote wasn't meant to be taken literally because Piccolo didn't immediately question what the fuck Goku was thinking when SSj Gotenks first formed, nor did he say that SSj Gotenks was no match for Fat Boo, unlike what he said for Base Gotenks.
