My opinion is that AT want to connect the movies by the canon manga by making anime and manga. ts really sucks and fuck.

Is there any hint as to how long after the Boo battle this is? Gohan can't be much more than 18 or 19 though at this stage as I doubt it's any more than 3 years.

It's at the very least 6 months after Boo. It also depends on how long this is before BoG, since those events (at least according to Xenoverse's timeline) occurred 4 years after Boo's defeat.

Well, that's the bare minimum, assuming that Beerus doesn't immediately go searching for Super Saiyan God. If the latter comes to pass, it's probably closer to the high end of 4 years.

Finally got around to seeing this. I have to tell ya, I enjoyed this way more than I was expecting. The biggest reason is because of the character moments. It touched on a few things that I felt DBZ was lacking.

-Mr. Satan finally showed some appreciation for what everyone did, saving the world and making him a bigger celebrity than ever before. Giving Goku that money was a nice gesture and brought some reality to someone who usually seems dense and self absorbed by his own fantasies.

-Mr. Boo only had a few minutes of screen time, but I was happy to see him nonetheless. Glad he is hanging around.

-Goku, it was great to see him being a dad. This is usually the biggest criticism that goes along with his character, but here we finally got some quality time with he and Goten. And it wasn't for training and didn't get interrupted by a battle. Points for bringing Goku down to Earth bit.

-Beerus is a boss, and I'm glad we got such an impressive feat for him. Makes his power more concrete.

-Goten and Trunks, a lot of people were bothered by their lack of strength against the snake, but as has already been said, they were clearly holding back. So I didn't mind it at all. Trunks telling Goten to hold back is KHH makes perfect sense, and the fact that he immediately thought of the nearby skinny dippers shows that he would have blasted several hundred yards of land into nothingness. Also, they are kids.

Overall, I had a big smile on my face. Can't wait for the Vegeta episode next week.

I didn't enjoy that at all, it only means that for dozens of episodes we will see the plot of the last 2 movies, with a little more character development. I hope that I'm wrong and DBS will have more content, because right now all I see is 100 episodes of BOG extended.
