According to the video, an interview with Toyotaro had him reveal Super would have to end like the original series, implying we won't see any material beyond EoZ. Do you believe Toyotaro will stick to this, or do you believe milking of the series will make this statement as valid as SSG Galu being 60% of Beerus' power?

I'm hoping that this is just a lie to add hype to the fanbase once Toyo contradicts this, seeing as how the existence of the manga's ending has made everything in Super fake tension and any conflict just a cashgrab. Wouldn't be surprised if it were true however, considering how the fanbase funding the series seem to be more driven by nostalgia than actual writing quality.

It might be a lie considering Toyotaro once said he hopes he can one day contribute to writing DB's final chapter, or might possibly be talking about the Black arc requiring Goku and Vegeta to survive rather than the story as a whole. Either way, with DB being more profitable than it ever has in recent years I highly doubt Toei will refuse to continue past EoZ in some form or another.

Maybe Toyotaro would end it before EoZ, but even so there is no way Toei would even think about ending it anytime soon considering the amount of money they are getting currently from the series.

It might not go past the events of EoZ, but I wouldnt be surprised if they changed and retconned a shit load of things to the point the only things that will remain the same are the tournament and Uub showing up.

Maybe it's just Toriyama who wants to end it on EoZ. I'm sure Toei and Toyotaro won't end it there and will keep doing it until the product doesn't make a profit anymore.
