Tenshinhan's Power

I want to know you guys' thoughts on where Tenshinhan lies in power. Some say he's closer to Krillin, and others say he's closer to Yamcha.

My personal opinion is by the Cell Saga, he's closer to Yamcha. In the late Freeza Saga, Gohan and Krillin should be around similar levels of power after the Guru Power Up, and Tenshinhan and Yamcha should be around similar power after training on King Kai's Planet, and that the Guru Power Up was more of an increase in strength than King Kai's Training. I like to think that all four maintained that balance after training for three years against the Androids, and that Gohan obviously far surpassed them after training in the ROSAT.

What do you guys think about this?

If thinking about it logically he shouldn’t be all that low, considering his Shin-Kikohou annoyed Cell. Unless the amplifier is out of this world.

Even if what you say is true, I can see Tenshinhan gaining a good lead over Yamcha during the 3 year gap. For one, whether Yamcha trained as seriously is pretty questionable. It was made apparent that he was the weakest of the group when Gero impaled him, and Yamcha was the first one to leave the battlefield by taking Goku home. Tenshinhan also had a sparring partner, albeit a weak one, but naturally that should still result in more effective training that what Yamcha could do. I think he's pretty close to Krillin.

Kuririn: 4.32 Million

Tenshinhan: 3.6 Million

Yamcha: 3 Million

In the Androids Saga, he's closer to Krillin. I'm not against the belief that he had surpassed Krillin in the Buu Saga.

It could go either way. While Yamcha was even more fodder than the other humans in the Androids Saga, Tenshinhan still hasn't caught up to Kuririn after nearly 20 years. It could be argued Kuririn has also kept training and/or Tenshinhan hasn't trained as seriously since he saw how outmatched he was in the Boo Saga.

Not sure about before Marron was born, but Z filler does show them sparring in the month before the Budokai.

The only time I think Krillin as over Ten was after the potential unlock until he died on Namek. Ten ended up doing extra training on King Kai’s planet until he got revived since he insisted to wait until he can return with the midget mime.

Tenshinhan > 18 though. Cell said he could reach and absorb 18 even before she could activate her bomb, yet he simply couldn’t outspeed Tenshinhan faster than Tenshinhan could say “Shin Kikoho”.
