Fixing the Dragon Ball Super Timeline to fit Bulma's not seeing Goku in 5 years remark — Yes it's clear as day that it's been retconned by this point/no longer matters to the main story, but that doesn't mean you can't still make use of something that was NEVER broken in the first place...
End of Majin Buu Saga (May 8th, Age 774)
Beerus Saga (August 18th, Age 777)
Set 3 Years after Buu rather than 4. Instead of using Pan for the God Ritual, they can use the recently met Tarble to help (paying his debt back since he got help from them) or come up with another way of doing the God Ritual.
• Vegeta's Training With Whis (September, Age 777)
• Goku's Training With Whis (March, Age 778)
• Freeza's Revival (April, Age 778)
Golden Freeza Saga (August 18th, Age 778)
1 Year later (4 Years after Buu), Tracksuit Gohan finds out Videl is pregnant with Pan while he's fighting the Freeza force, which gives him motivation to start training again to protect his family after getting his ass whooped by Freeza and getting informed (or a better way).
Champa Saga (September, Age 778)
2 weeks after Freeza's defeat.
Future Trunks Saga (September, Age 778)
1 week after the Tournament.
Universe Survival Saga (September, Age 779)
1 Year After Champa Saga.
Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga (October, Age 779)
Sometime after the Tournament of Power. Final Fight with Moro would be 2 months after (December, Age 779). This is also if I'd consider Broly being a thing despite how great it was.
This leaves the whole of Ages 780, 781, 782, 783, and up to May of 784 where Goku didn't see Bulma [5 Years]. Not 5 whole years but within the 5 year range, 5 whole years would be 60 months, but by the end of December of Age 779 to early May of 784 (the End of Z) that'd be 53 months which you might as well begin to say is 5 years - round it.
It's similar to how Piccolo in the RoF movie told Goku that Freeza was revived ABOUT half a year ago, half a year being 6 months but we know Freeza only been alive for 4 months so to assume that movie Piccolo is just rounding it is for the sake of simplicity. If 4 months is ABOUT half a year, a 1.5× difference, then to say 53 months is 'basically' {Keyword} 5 Years/withIN the 5 year period equating to 60 months which would be a 1.13× gap, it works.
