For example, anyone with even a bit of reading comprehension will tell you that Vegeta was MUCH stronger than Goku when they fought in the earth. But Vegeta still got really pissed when Goku made him bleed or his KameHame surpassed his Garlick-Ho.
Why? Because Vegeta didn't know or didn't give a shit about the KK's or any of that, he simply was pissed that a low class saiyan could fight against him.
You maybe weren't able to understand that Goku never got as strong as Vegeta in the earth and that he managed to hurt him thanks to the KK, but believe me, that's what happened.
