Well yeah there's this screenshot from the yi xing lnog fight which I would argue was SSJ2, but that other one could be interpreted as anything.

Tenshinhan. He was Goku's rival for exactly one fight before Goku drank the Choshinsui. He never had a personality beyond being 
with Chiaotzu, and all he ever did was stall villains with moves that not only killed him, but had absolutely no effect in the long run.

I feel that Potara Fusion characters were wasted because they didn't do anything meaningful or permanent in the series.

Oh number 1 for me is absolutely with no doubt.......GOHAN!
To me Gohan is an absolutely overrated totally worthless character.
After Piccolo trained him he was nothing but a crying whining waste of space that should've been killed off by Recoome.
Gohan is dependant on everyone, i hated his english voice crying "DADDY"
I hated his stupid haircut in the Namek saga, I hate his look.
He was another Krillin.
Very little backbone.
Teenage Gohan was total garbage. If it wasn't for Android16, PerfectCell, Goku, Gohan would lack any sorta fighting motivation whatsoever & would've never reached AscendedSaiyan.
Pfffffffft If it wasn't for Goku he wouldn't have reached SuperSaiyan.
If it wasn't for Piccolo, Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, he would've been dead before he became a teenager.
Adult Gohan is an insult.
Wasted time since the Cell Games end to the Saiyaman saga no training, what a joke character.

He got his butt kicked as an AscendedSaiyan by Dabura.
Gohan had Ultimate handed to him by the ElderKai & still got his butt kicked by Super Buu (w/ Gotenks and Piccolo absorbed)...........
Ultimate Gohan GOT OWNED by Super Buu (w/ Gotenks and Piccolo absorbed).
And Gohan was still such a lame character that the japanese audience didn't like him.
Only two versions of Gohan I thought was interesting.
KidGohan when he met Raditz & FutureGohan, any other version & he sucks.
Any power Gohan has is wasted, he needs to either be killed off permanently or revamped.

Apparently, a character's worth is measured by how many asses he kicks.
The most wasted character to me is Yamcha, simply because, aside from the baseball episode, absolutely nothing good ever happened to him.
* Get his ass kicked repeatedly. Yamcha never even got the chance to pass the first round, always being the first to get his ass kicked by having the misfortune of fighting either the winner of the tournament (Kame Sennin and Tenshinhan) or literally God himself.
* Get killed by a Saibaiman. What a disgraceful way to go. At least, the others got to die through honorable sacrifice against an opponent as powerful as Nappa. Yamcha got killed from behind by a weakling.
* His girlfriend dumps him because he was cheating on her, despite the fact she had no problem flirting with every prettt boy she met (even when she was Yamcha's girlfriend). The one who replaced him is the guy who used to work for Frieza, allowed Nappa to kill her friends, slaughtered entire villages of Namekians, sadistically murdered a guy in front of her, and is a huge jerkass in general. Seems legit.
* He doesn't even get invited to fight Frieza and its soldiers. Heck, the guys picked Kame Sennin over Yamcha, despite the fact that the latter outclassed the former since back in Saiyan Saga. Not even his friends respect him.
Even in the baseball episode, he still some s**t. Bulma says Yamcha is only good at baseball. As if dumping him for a jackass wasn't enough. Oh, and he gets injured several times by people way out of his league. Its surprising that he's still alive !
Poor guy can't catch a break.
