Considering he was certain the only way to beat Yakon was to gang up on him, it'd work well in a team effort, but not 1 on 1. As for Pui Pui in a 1 on 1 scenario, I'd say it's possible. I doubt a Level 1 fighter like Pui Pui would've been informed on his paralysis and while he was worried about Vegeta taking Pui Pui on alone, it's not as though Vegeta had a paralysis technique. Assuming he can attack whilst using it like Zamasu, Shin could probably beat Pui Pui in a fight, even if weaker.
