The top arc will begin with the hit mini arc that it would last 2 episodes at it lasted originally just that the 1st episode we wouldn't get hit killing goku but rather appearing on his back in the end, the 2nd episode would go the same way it did in the original run of the arc

Then, we get the zen exhibition match but this would go with a battle between gods and then goku vs toppo, goku would began using ssj and then blue taking him out of the ring, toppo would talk about jiren and would not be happy with his lost

During the zen exhibition match we will get gohan and piccolo training and then gohan fighting with goku but this time he would use ssj, ssj god and ssj blue vs gohan unlike the original episodes. Then goku will recruit 17 and equally with gohan he would use ssj, ssj god, but they would stop once goku decides to go ssb. Majin buu would get out of the picture again and goku would decide to recruit frieza and will happen the same in the episodes he was relevant.

There will not be majin buu added form in this story, because it's actually useless to give it to him because he would not be used in this arc again.

I would just decide to make the relevant characters, since pretty much everyone is the same to me other than them:

Goku and hit vs jiren: goku would fight using ssjblue while teaming up with hit being no match for him. Hit would decide to use his time lag to try to put him out of the ring but jiren would counter him with a punch, jiren would not give the same treatment to goku letting him on the ring

The main fights of u7 vs u11:

Frieza would be out initially, we'll get dyspo vs gohan and toppo vs 17 initially while goku and vegeta vs jiren, goku and vegeta vs jiren will go the same way as it did in 122 without vegeta getting ssb evolved form, dyspo and gohan would trade blows and fight evenly while toppo initially shows an advantage vs 17, but realize of his unlimited stamina, once dyspo realize 17 will eventually gain advantage vs toppo he decides to switch opponents, dyspo uses his final technique to not lose time, once 17 is almost thrown out frieza saves him, frieza and 17 discusses their strategy which consists on 17 involving dyspo in his barrier while frieza throws a blast, 17 attacks dyspo distracting him, he eventually locks dyspo while dodging his punch and dyspo is unable to get out, then he gets involved in his barrier and both 17 and dyspo went out of the ring at the same time with golden frieza throwing a death beam. Toppo is playing with gohan who is pretty powerless against him physically, he eventually gets him out of the ring in a beam struggle with nobody there to assist him

Frieza vs toppo:

Frieza calls pathetic his belief of justice and proves to get the upperhand time by time, toppo while feeling powerless decides to use his god form which fairly outclass frieza making him uncapable of continuing with a hakai energy big enough that he can't dodge it. Toppo thinks frieza is dead so he no longer has to care about him and we are told to believe this is the case

Vegeta vs toppo:

After this, toppo goes for vegeta, however on this story, toppo is too much for vegeta to handle, vegeta after realizing none of his attacks can work against him and all of his attacks are nulified, he decides to use final destruction so he can get toppo out, however he's in bad conditions and just in his base form and the part of the ring he was in got cut so he is now eliminated

Goku vs jiren:

Goku after realizing everyone is out in the ring and that his kkx20 in blue doesn't work, decides to use the genkidama vs jiren and the result would go the same as it were in the anime, goku would get ui but would not be enough against jiren, once they thought everything is over, goku gets white hair and proceeds to turn the tables on jiren being the same fight it was in 130, with the exception that once jiren was about to eliminate goku, frieza appears to save him and we realize he was never dead, the time expires and jiren gets eliminated by default as goku and frieza are the winners due to number of participants, u11 is eliminated and they decide to choose for frieza to come back to life with only u7 and the universes which were not participating not getting erased

Just a small detail: Shouldn't Goku vs Gohan happen after Goku vs 17? Because the way you worded it, it sounds like either Gohan finished training the day he started or Goku only visited 17 after days had passed.

What does Goku do after Hit loses? I can't imagine Goku running away, but if he continues fighting Jiren will knock him out. Unless you want to make it like the manga where Jiren just stood there...

Does Kefla not exist in your version? The way you write Goku vs Jiren, it sounds like Goku never used the form before this fight.

That ending sucks. U6 and U11 are gone just like that??? That's cold. You can't change the FT Saga ending then turn around and end DBS in such a depressing way.

I think the TOP should have been conducted in two stages.
1. In the first stage, Zeno magically makes everybody have the same power level temporarily so they can fight all vs all on the arena without inconsistencies created, with skill prevailing.
2. The final eight fighters left can then fight in the quarter finals (pairs decided by lottery) with their true power levels. A final Goku vs Jiren would be awesome.

Yes, i always thought gohan should have gotten time to shine earlier to make more impact to 17's return. Gohan also had to happen recently a situation in which he should have helped trunks but wasn't powerful enough so based on that motivation he should train earlier and as well as protect his loved ones.

17 being stated to be a terryfying enemy would be more impactful if we know there are more god tier fighters in the team, yet he'd still left a lot to talk about.

Goku would teleport and realize if he's not cautious he would get in the same fate as hit, hit would basically serve to the purpose that the major threat he faced is meaningless and would introduce a new challenge to overcome.

I had always thought goku using genkidama on jiren was too soon, he could have had done that when at least almost every u7 fighters were gone. I don't have a way to introduce more characters than those.

The ending would help as to why u7 is the main focus which was presented in both broly and super hero. Also vegeta remembering that jiren was a fearsome foe but realizing why he was that great would make more emphasis if he is talking about an enemy that is no longer there, but still lefts a lot to talk about or frieza's statement of nobody on existence standing up to broly would not be misunderstood.

I had always wondered how it would be if both goku and frieza are the winners and how goku have to take frieza orders to accomplish his promise as opposed to 17 winning.
