Toei planned Roshi to get such GAINZ

[Captain Cadaver]

- Movie 2 Roshi took on opponents Goku and Piccolo struggled with and made Kochin look like a bitch, whereas Kuririn was running from his machine gun in fear.
- Roshi was able to get the better of Yajirobe in Freeza Arc filler.
- Garlic Jr. Arc Roshi gained enough of a boost from the Black Water Mist to fight well against Kuririn, with the same boost bringing Yamcha from at least the 50-60k area to above 1 million since he could do well against Piccolo.
- Toei had to make Roshi drunk against so the movie wouldn't end there.
- JSAT Roshi volunteered to fight Abo and Kado.

Roshi could always be as strong as he wants to be with :toei by his side.

[Fantastische Hure]

Anime Yamcha is a beast. But Master-Roshi has the hax of all haxes. He can be as high as he wants to.

[Papasmurf]

So Toei GASLIGHTED Toriyama into making that comment about Roshi's manly GAINZ?

AT probably didn't feel like watching/reading his whole series to remember where Roshi stood,
so he just watched some Toei's movies and got like ''so that's how strong he is''.

[Let's Go Fearless!]

Now let's not act like Super did this out of nowhere. :toei
