Two Base Theory (Super Saiyan Essence)

So here's how I think it worked on Namek with Goku.

Base Goku 3,000,000
KKx10 Goku 30,000,000
KKx20 Goku 60,000,000

After Goku transforms...

Base Goku 3,000,000
Base Goku (Tapping Into SSJ Energy) 15,000,000
KKx10 (Cannot use both KK and SSJ energy) 30,000,000
KKx20 (Cannot use both KK and SSJ Energy) 60,000,000
Super Saiyan Goku 150,000,000

So in light of this, Base - SSJ can be a 10x boost, while also making it a 50x boost to solve the Kaioken issue.

Flawless victory.

It's the two-base theory that actually has merit.

Some Saiyans with enough S Cells are able to tap into Super Saiyan Essence power, even without having Super Saiyan, for example, Cabba and perhaps Broly.

Ikari can be boosted off of SSJ Essence, perhaps.

So Super Saiyan is a 50x boost, but, it can lend some of it's energy to Saiyans as they fight in Base, but the power that is tapped into by Super Saiyan power, cannot be multiplied by Kaioken techniques as so on. Which allows us to have our cake and eat it too.

This is probably the only solution.

Super Saiyan IS a 50x boost. However, Base Saiyans with enough training, S Cells, or whatever logic we can come up with, can tap into a portion of this Super Saiyan power despite not transforming. As Elder Kai said, transformations is the wrong way of doing things.

I don't think there's any flaws here.

The only issue is figuring out if SSJ Broly is powerful enough, I think everything else fits in just fine.

Sorry but this is too headcanon-ish for me
It is, but it is meant to explain the very real issue that Super Saiyan is portrayed as a much smaller boost than 50x, while also never suggesting that Kaioken is ever relevant.

This is the only explanation of how that can happen.

I see no issue with SSJ being a 50x boost in Z.

Because you have never looked into the issue. Gero's implications prove that Super Saiyan cannot be a 50x boost. So 50x is factually incorrect, at least when using the source material.
Gero said that SSJ Goku wasn't anything that him and 19 couldn't beat, and was surprised that he didn't get much stronger after Absorbing a suppressed Piccolo's Energy. His scouter is clearly faulty.

His scouter is only faulty when measuring powers that greatly exceed his own. Every other time, his scouter worked perfectly. In that arc, Gero's scouter is actually right 9/10 times. If you want, we can go over every single scouter implication if you aren't aware of them.

Certainly, that's what I'm here for. 19 picks up a power signature in the city, they think it's Goku at first, but then they learn it's Yamcha. They agree that Yamcha is a good source of energy. Is this an accurate power level reading?

I prefer the idea that the boost just weakened overtime like we see in GT.

No because Yamcha is fodder. The last recorded battle power they have for Goku is during his fight with Nappa and Vegeta where he was barely over 8000. Freeza is literally thousands of times stronger, let alone the androids the heroes are intended to fight.

That doesn't explain how it weakened nearly immediately.

Base Goku is able to dodge 100% Freeza's blast.

Base Gohan is stronger than SSJ Future Trunks.

Base Gohan is a good source of power to a SSJ leveled opponent.

Super Saiyan was never a 50x boost.

So Gero is wrong, that Yamcha is not a good source of power?

Well then maybe SSJ is a lot less stressful to use than Kaioken as well.

I mean, it didn't look like he turned into some beast after putting his hand through Yamcha.
You are missing the nuance. Yamcha is a good source of power for them to feast on, he's nothing compared to their total power. He makes up a small percentage of their power and is not a threat, but he's good for devouring.

Well, this theory makes sense to an extent, but still isn't clear to me, are you saying that Goku before transforming into ssj against Freeza got 5x stronger? I don't know how that could make sense, especially when Goku was clearly out of energy after using Kaioken x20, but still... Doesn't contradict the idea that ssj multiple times the power level of a saiyan as is stated after.
