Absorption works by addition except for Dai Kaioshin, fact. Do you think that absorbing South Kaioshin made Boo multiple stronger?

Or Gotenks is nothing more than a hype just like he was portrayed since his debut. It wasn't until his SSjin3 where he proved that he can hang out someone stronger than SSjin3 Goku himself. Maybe SSjin3 Goku is far stronger than any SSjin2 tiers that Gotenks needs SSjin3 to surpass the gap.
