Vegeta had saved Dende from Freeza's death beam?

Would Dende have remained around to heal them? I don't think Freeza would
have engaged into a fight with Vegeta and risked leaving Dende alive for longer.
He'd have immediately raised his speed, got rid of Vegeta with a death beam,
then procceeded to kill Dende. As a result, by the time Goku arrives, Freeza has
probably had the time to kill one of the other three. Goku gets mad at that,
turns SSJ right away and kills Freeza. Assuming the one killed earlier was not
Piccolo, everything is put back to normal one way or another.
All in all, i don't see it making any difference in the long run. Or do you have
any other ideas? Discuss.

Things would just go the same as normal, except that Dende's death would happen later. Freeza wouldn't let Dende rush over to heal Vegeta and Dende wouldn't really want to without Piccolo convincing him again. The only change I can see as possible is that Dende heals Goku when Piccolo catches Freeza off-guard and unless that factors in additional power for the Genki-Dama like against Boo (for which Freeza need only instantly go up to 70% or so), the only change I see as possible is that Freeza kills Dende before targeting Piccolo and Kuririn.

Given Dende's body would be in a different location, this may effect the time it takes for him to get to Porunga later on, but that's too much of an unexplored factor for me to include, since it's not as though Toriyama produced a map of Namek or anything. Suffice to say, barely anything changes overall.
