Vegeta also saw how Goku suddenly multiplied his power and easily got ahold of Nappa, accessing a battle power of 16,000 +... so he surely did surpass King Vegeta there.

Like I said... Low-class, Middle-class/Elites, (Super) elites. Different name, same meaning.

Where's Super Elite referred again?

I honestly don't even remember.

This is the exact quote btw

''To be honest, I haven’t thought it through that far, but Bardock is a low-class warrior. Although even saying that, almost all [Saiyans] were low-class warriors, and there were only about 10 mid-class warriors. And when you get to the elite warriors, there’s only King Vegeta and Prince Vegeta. Bardock is in the upper ranks as far as low-class warriors go, but he isn’t able to become a mid-class warrior.
This rank is determined by an innate latent battle power, but naturally, if their battle power rises greatly afterward, they can be promoted.''

That seems strange... Toriyama classified Nappa as a Mid-Class warrior whereas Nappa classified himself as someone from the elite. You either have to think Nappa was lying or that Toriyama just forgot about that monologue. Nowhere is it mentioned that mid-class is the same as someone from the elite.

Maybe yeah, the term elite was a pretty abrangent one and encompassed more gifted Saiyajins... or maybe Vegeta was more of an elite warrior, although he just mentioned elite warriors in that speech you referred iirc. Maybe he'd consider himself and his father in that speech but not Nappa? But again, he also saw how Goku suddenly multiplied his power to easily knock out Nappa and accessed a battle power of 16k+... King Vegeta was surely not that strong, unless we'd assume kid Vegeta was like 17k, which smeels turkish's crap...

But yeah, it's very possible King Vegeta is above 8,000, and he is officially at least 10,000 if one considers the Bardock's movie (or was that an Ova? An special?).

The way Freeza talked about being able to defeat King Vegeta without needing to transform kinda sounds like he was expecting a better challenge from him. Just sounds funny when taking the power levels into consideration. Freeza was 530k and King Vegeta was 10k at the most. No shit Freeza won without transforming. Dodoria could've done that.

King Vegeta would probably have a bp of about 10,000 I guess.

As for the topic, no he probably barely used the Galick Gun, maybe only when trying to learn the attack. No, I can't see Vegeta ever getting pushed in his life in combat before fighting Goku. The man acted like a spoiled brat not getting the right Christmas present when he was bleeding.

I honestly think it was just a way of taunting Vegeta... like, throwing into the son's face how weak his father really was.

@Ahill @FW, the Daizenshuu lumps both Nappa and Vegeta together as Elite, for what's worth it:

Btw Ahill, King Vegeta's bio calls him the strongest Saiyan by the time of his death.

That's interesting. Yeah, king Vegeta is stronger than Nappa.

It's funny that King Vegeta would be wayy below 18k, that is, he would be even more of a joke to Freeza than Nail was, and yet Freeza could tank Nail when using just a fraction of his 1st form full power.

I just go with there being two types of elites, the one Nappa is in and the one's that are of royal descent (Super elite as you may call it), otherwise Vegeta's speech makes 0 sense.

One of my old theories was that Nappa watched Reacoom do Eraser Gun and decided to make his own version of it.

I was like 14.

Haha when I was a novice to Dragon Ball and hadn't even watched the anime, I thought the giant muscle man beating Vegeta (Recoome) was actually the one who was with Vegeta before (Nappa), some friend of him or some shit.

I thought Reacoom was #16's brother. In the Ocean Dub, Vegeta called Reacoom an "Android" and, well, my young mind went from there.

When I saw the Japanese (no subs) episode of Future Trunks arriving to stop Freeza, I thought Trunks was actually Goku. Why? The part where he says "I'm not soft like Goku" and Freeza saying the name right after made me believe Trunks was introducing himself as Goku. Also, the only Super Saiyan I've seen up to this point is Goku. Oh, and I thought King Cold was actually Freeza. By this point, I've only seen Freeza's first form, and that looked closer to Cold than anything else.

Sometimes I wish I could go back to my original thoughts of things. Mainly because of how funny it was.
