Which do you think featured better villains, Super or GT?

For me this one is a no-brainer. GT featured legends such as Zunama, Dolltaki, Dr. Myu, General Dildo, and Qi Xing Long. Not a single one of Super’s villains could induce such fear and terror as GT’s.

For me too. GT might not have had the best cast of villains, but it’s uncertainly more remarkable than Super.

Each of GT's main villains have pretty poor execution, with Baby's mind control ability and the mind control inflicted on Super #17 taking away any sense of nuance in their actions and each of the Evil Dragons were pretty one-note. What they added as far as the DB world's wider scope and repercussions go, however, is enough to make them seem masterfully executed compared to Super's villains. Baby drew on the interesting yet previously seldom-focused topic of the Tsufurians and his actions resulted in such a rarity in DB as a permanent death of a Z-Warrior (Piccolo, no less), Super #17's actions lead to character development and additional focus for #18 whilst leading well into the next arc and the Evil Dragons were a thematically interesting concept to turn the franchise's main plot convenience on its head and lead to a true sense of conclusion.
Meanwhile, Super's villains primarily consist of dumb hypocrites who serve little purpose beyond being a wall for a character to test a new power up on.

Don't forget Omega Shenron who was knowledgeable in alchemy and advanced science.

Dolltaki would sadly qualify as a serious villain in Super. Para Para brothers would end up with a 12 episode filler saga in Super.

GT one-shots.

They were all pretty fucking terrible. Baby was a humongous retard and tried to kill Piccolo before he even wished on the BSDBs, somehow held a greater grudge toward Goku than Vegeta for no real reason when he was perfectly fine with just mind controlling Trunks, and he would've been done in by a SSJ4 Goku who wasn't "using a smidgen of his power" if not for Bulma's asspull tech :ha :ha

Super 17 broke new grounds on terrible, no need to go into that. And all of the Evil Dragons were completely one-note with Yi Xing Long in particular just being a cowardly showboat with no personality, whose goals of galactic destruction are about as generic as you can get. That, and he doesn't even point out often that the Dragon Team definitely brought this fate on themselves with the overuse of the Dragon Balls.

Beerus had more personality than all of them combined if you count him as a villain, though he was immediately just turned into Bulma's guest at dinner parties as well as a deus ex machina with Whis in the FnF arc. Golden Freeza was more of the same, except more incompetent than on Namek. Hit was like a 22nd Tenshinhan if he had the personality of his Cell arc self, and while Goku Black definitely showed promise, as soon as he was revealed to just be Zamasu in Goku's body and let the heroes escape for the 2nd time he fell apart. All the more after fusing. :pyro is just... :pyro . So yeah.

That is the most flattering depiction of Super I read in a while.
