Honestly out of all of the placement of the Buu's in power this was the one thing that I was never 100% sure about. I always thought Good Majin Buu had the power of Dai Kaioshin and the Southern Supreme Kai, so with out them Majin was completely evil hence Pure Evil Majin Buu. I never understood: Good Majin Buu + Pure Evil Majin Buu = Super Buu, yet Super Buu - Good Majin Buu = Kid Buu. Didn't Vegeta even speculate that if he removed Good Majin Buu from Super Buu that he'd go back to being Pure Evil Majin Buu?

Even seeing this from an out of universe perspective: AT decided to make Goku the hero instead of Gohan, so
he needed to replace Super Buu with a villain at SSJ3 Goku's level. And which villain is that? Grey Buu! Of course,
not knowing beforehand that he would go beyond a brief use of that villain, he initially gave him an awkward
body, so he had to redraw him into a cooler and more badass figure.

Kid Boo dominated Good Boo much harder than Pure-Evil Boo did. In the manga, the fight between Good Boo and his evil side was only 2-panels long so it's hard to somehow conclude Pure-Evil Boo is stronger than Kid Boo by that alone.

Mentioning the anime is the same as shooting yourself in the foot, since in the anime Good Boo did relatively well against Pure-Evil Boo, but got stomped by Kid Boo.

I rewatched the fight 20 minutes ago just for fun. Good Boo managed to exchange blows evenly with Pure-Evil Boo for several seconds, deflected a big pink ki blast from him, deflected his spam of pink ki blasts, managed to hold him in his place for several seconds with that tentacle he pulled out from his belly, and managed to do relatively well in the Kamehameha-beam clash. How is that not doing well?

EDIT: Not to mention, he shrugged off Pure-Evil Boo's punches in the beginning of the fight and just looked at him with an angry face, while he couldn't even stand after that beating from Kid Boo.

Good Buu lasted longer against Kid Buu than of Evil Buu.

Evil Buu has evil south kai power within him. This is supported in the manga when Good Buu can't even hit Evil Buu when Good Buu actually did something against Kid Buu. Lol

That's because Pure Boo was playing around with Good Boo. Vegeta also managed to hit Pure Boo with ki blasts.

He lasted longer against Kid Boo because he decided to turn Pure-Evil Boo into a chocolate and you know that. In the manga, it's clearly stated that Pure-Evil Boo is a portion of Fat Boo's power, and Fat Boo<Kid Boo. The latter was also merely toying around with Good Boo.

Kid Boo's superior, but logically they should be the same.

Pure Evil Boo was all of the purged from Fat Boo. Separating that evil turned him into Mr. Boo.
Kid Boo was what Boo became when Mr. Boo was removed from Super Boo.
So Mr. Boo releasing evil or being removed from evil resulted in a Pure Evil Boo

But then you have the fact that Pure Evil Boo is weaker than Fat Boo, since he only took the majority of the power. My issue is....what does that mean for Mr. Boo? If he's pure good, his powers aren't a source of evil, or rather, Kid Boo's power. We see this when Kid Boo beats the shit out of Mr. Boo with his power.

The idea of Kid Boo having his own separate pool of power while Pure Evil Boo and Mr.Boo shared all of Fat Boo's power seems weird. It shouldn't even be possible.

DarkPrince once came up with an explanation for that where Super Boo lost the Kaioshin components one by one when fatty was removed, which is why Dai Kaioshin's essence was removed first causing him to regress into Buff Boo, and then to his original form. Hence Evil Boo and Kid Boo have different powers despite logically being the same.

I think Pure Evil Boo being weaker than Kid Boo does make sense, because Pure Evil Boo is just the evil portion of Fat Boo, who is weaker than Kid Boo, while Kid Boo is Fat Boo without any of his power restrained by Dai Kaioshin.

That's the part that doesn't make sense, though. Where is Kid Boo when the split takes place? He can't be within Mr.Boo because his evil has been purged. It's like he's not even apart of Boo and is a separate entity even though we're told Dai Kaioshin merely weakened Kid Boo's power. Pure Evil Boo ate Mr. Boo and became Super Boo. Super Boo is quite sure the same Mr.Boo being removed from him would make him lose who he is. This part is just dumb.

I remember DP's theory. I think it's a solid one.

Evil Buu was toying around with Good Buu as well. Just because he looked serious doesn't mean that he was lol

I think Pure Evil Boo got stronger than before and became Kid Boo after Vegeta severed the connection between him and Mr. Boo. It's really dumb, but considering how Super Boo somehow became hundreds of times stronger than the original Fat Boo just because Pure Evil Boo is the one controlling him instead of Mr. Boo, it wouldn't be a stretch to argue that Pure-Evil Boo somehow got much stronger and turned into Kid Boo after the connection was severed.

Evil Buu was toying around with Good Buu as well. Just because he looked serious doesn't mean that he was lol
Pure-Evil Boo was toying even though nobody says it, nobody implies it and nobody does anything to suggest it? Not to mention it goes completely against Pure-Evil Boo's character of being ridiculously straight to the point.

There's also the fact that kid buu was formed by removing absorptions, and evil buu was some sort of weird magical split.

It was always obvious that kid buu > evil buu though due to the whole power chain with SSJ3 goku. Goku being stronger than fat buu should have no trouble with evil buu at all. Yet he struggles with kid buu.

There is also a theory about Goku having weaker SSJ3 with a living body. Can it be
something like...

SSJ2s- 10
SSJ3 Dead Goku- 30
Fat Buu- 27
Good Buu- 12
Grey Buu/Kid Buu- 15
SSJ3 Alive Goku- 15
