Was Black talking about humans or all mortals?

When Black was giving his motive rant to Future Trunks in episode 51 did he mean humans in general or all mortals? This kind of confuses me, if he was just talking about humans than why did he destroy those other planets before coming to Earth? Now we know Black comes from a higher place and is likely related to the Kais. Beerus, Whis and Kaioshin have all called Goku and Vegeta "humans" despite being Saiyans so that leads me to believe Black wants to kill all mortals in the universe but let me know your thoughts.

Beerus refers them as Saiyans most of the time. I think what Black meant is that humans didn't made an impact in the universe and need to be destroy.
