Was Oars way stronger than Thriller Bark Luffy?

Oars with Luffy's shadow, ofc. While Oars' body was stronger and the combination of a strong body plus a strong shadow produces stronger warriors, he couldn't access techniques like Gear 2 and his body was overall more susceptible to attacks.

Well, look at the way he treated Rob Lucci in their fight. He states that if he took his attention away from him, he'd go and "kill his friends". Franky or Zolo also stated they don't know how many of them would be killed if Luffy weren't keeping him at bay.

Even going by that perspective, Luffy also needed help fighting against Oars. That wasn't a fight that could be won solo.

Honestly not gonna lie, it's hard to imagine Post TS Brook just 1-shotting Oars. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Moria thought he was gonna conquer the sea with Oars wasn't he? Wouldn't this be a plot hole when he's very aware of how strong Yonko can be?

Moriah seemed to be delusional in general. It's also possible that Oars was more powerful when he was actually alive instead of having Luffy's shadow put into him.

If that were the case, wouldn't his direct hits have KO'd Zoro and Sanji? Lucci almost lost consciousness when being hit by Luffy's G3.
