Was Trunks SSJ2 vs Black and Dabra? And some Gohan stuff

After Goku and Trunks transform to SSJ2 the sparks leave.

However, when Trunks transforms against Black he doesn't have sparks at all iirc. Doesn't seem like he went SSJ2.

Against Dabra, after he says "I received instructions from Kaioshin"(Dragon team probably translated it differently. Not able to check right now) the frames skip from him being knocked out in base to him being transformed. In other words, we don't see him transform. Is it possible he went SSJ2 which is why he went from getting beat up to beating Dabra up? If that's the case then:

SSJ2 Trunks >>> Dabra >>> SSJ Trunks.

That means:

SSJ2 Trunks >>> Dabra ~ SSJ2 Gohan >>> SSJ Trunks

Or

SSJ2 Trunks >>> Dabra ~ SSJ Gohan >>> SSJ Trunks.

Imo I find it hard to believe Boo arc Gohan being >>> Trunks in equal forms since this Trunks trained enough to get SSJ2. So if my logic in the 3rd paragraph works, Gohan was a SSJ2

Gohan didn't have sparks against Dabra either.

I want to say Trunks was SSJ2. I don't see a better time for him to have used it. Learning it after Dabra would be a little late, imo.

I don't think he was SSJ2 against Dabra on account of him revealing SSJ2 taking place after that flashback. Plus, it'd make Trunks' hax a littttle less ridiculous if he was already above Dabra in SSJ1 at the time

Trunks is pretty much even with SSJ2 Goku who's at least able to use the form to get stronger than he was in the SSJ form in the last arc, so yeah... godhaxed just like everybody else who trains in this show 2

Training would've made more sense. Then again, Kaioshin isn't competent enough to train anyone....
