I agree, SSJ2 is sweet. At first, I expected Trunks would still be a weak SSJ, like FnF Gohan, or that he would just get a random hax as an SSJ, like Vegeta's Engraged form. But SSJ2 was actually used to explain the story and what was going on, so I enjoyed that a lot.

I think Trunks held power since just with Cell in its Timeline, until I Dabura and Trunks defeated, then Kaioshin warned him about Majin Boo and saliva Dabura, whether you asked to continue training. After a short time, Trunks SSJ exceeded the power of Dabura and easily defeated.

Later, maybe a few months later or a year later appeared Black Goku, the latter forced him to Trunks to train very hard, probably Trunks sometime this year training to face Black Goku, obtained SSJ2, plus an absolutely exaggerated increase , as it did Piccolo for Universal tournament.

Every time I think more that for the more powerful the enemy, this makes the power of the Z Warriors increases even more than usual, when training.
