We should ban Scott

I think we as a community can make a suggestion. This dude Scott definitely sucks. He's super toxic, has been given multiple, multiple chances. We as a group should oust him. He shouldn't be here. If we can get like 90% of the voters to say he deserves a ban, I think it should go through.

I'm all for grace and forgiveness, but I've seen this guy warned a million times, get small bans and nothing changes with him. Now I'm not for cancel culture at all, but I believe in a progressive disciplinary approach.

For me, I suggest a full one year ban for the time being. If he changes his ways when his ban is over, we should welcome him with open arms. If he continues on next year, he gets a two year ban. We need to show him that his behavior is unacceptable.

So what do you guys say? Would you like a break from Scott for a year? I know I sure would. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm not a wannabe moderator. I believe in the democratic process. I am only one man, but if the community as a whole judges you, then we know it's the right call. I have no power or authority here, but there are power in numbers. I am simply bringing the much needed issue to the table.

It'll be what's best for you as well, when a community ousts you, then and only then, do you learn that you actually need to improve your behavior. I am hoping for your progress Scott, I really am. It will have to get worse before it gets better though.

Nah, so people can bring things to the floor. I’m bringing the issue to the floor. If I was a moderator I would’ve banned your ass a long time ago. What I’m trying to do is show people how a mere individual of the group can raise issues to the powers that be and get things done. There is power in numbers. And we can use that power despite us not having individual power

It's not majority rule when the decision falls on only the admin(s) or moderators.

If SSJ2 wanted me banned for that thread, then he would have banned me instead of just locking it. This butthurt ass thread of yours only serves to instigate a flame war and it's not even in the right section.

I don't like him (or at least his posts, not that I usually see them) but I don't particularly wanna ban him. He's not posted anything so bad yet or trolled. Maybe a little abrasive at most. He posts some interesting stuff too. I don't think the guy's in a good place though.
