Weekly Character Showcase

[SSJ2]

I just became aware that the official DB website does a weekly showcase for random characters in the franchise. Several of them have had some interesting tidbits so far.

This is only referncing Cell arc Gohan but it's further evidence that Gohan was only Super Saiyan against Dabura/Boo. Gonna read through most of these to look for anything interesting.

Here's a truly forgotten CHAD of the series: King Castle Guard. Not only this entry places him on the pantheon of Earth's mightiest heroes, it confirms he's indeed very powerful, and not a random dude sent to buy time. I'm sure he could fold Tao Pai Pai like a stick.

This one is interesting. Gero was a founding member of the RRA and designed all of their weapons (Not just the androids), with the site even suggesting Gero is arguably the true mastermind behind the RRA. Also, 19 was based on a traditional doll of a place the RRA conquered once.

King Vegeta's highlight says he died when Planet Vegeta blew up. This is either a retcon from the TV Special/Anime or a mistake.

AT I think had already stated Dr. Gero was one of the founding members of the RRA. Him or some-one.

Here's an interesting one - Every time they talk about Dragon Ball Super characters, it's exclusively about their manga versions. Further proof that Toyotaro's manga is the true continuation of Toriyama's work, not the poorly produced Toei flop that got Hakai'd years ago.
