Goku drinks the ''magic water''. Believing he has become stronger, he
goes to fight Taopaipai. Tao still stomps him, but notices he's
somewhat stronger than before. He asks about that, but Goku won't
tell him. Tao then notices the tower and realizes what happened.
He kills Goku, takes the dragonballs and climbs up the tower to drink
the magic water. Korin tells him that, to drink it, he has to take the
flask first. Tao answers he has no time for bullshit and threatens to
kill the cat if he doesn't hand over the flask. They start fighting but
Korin has the upper hand. Eventually, Tao resorts to the bomb trick,
but Korin easily sees through it and kills him.
Meanwhile, the gang notices, at Bulma's radar, that the dragonballs
have stopped moving. They go to check it out and eventually reach
the top of Korin's tower. They ask for the dragonballs and Korin gives
them, since he has no use for them anyway. Then they all go to RRA's
headquarters and defeat the army. They use the dragonballs to revive
Goku.
3 years later, at 22nd TB tournament, Goku reaches the final against
Tenshinhan. Tien easily defeats Goku, but decides not to kill him in
the end, to Crane Master's annoyance. When Crane Master tries to
interfrere, Roshi repels him with a kamehameha.
Krillin is killed by Tambourine. Goku and Yamcha cannot fight (Yamcha
has a broken leg and Goku is still pretty beaten up after fighting Tien).
Piccolo kills Roshi and Chaozu and wishes for immortality, the same
way it happened in the series. Tenshinhan practices mafuba, goes to
seal Piccolo and ends up killed by Drum.
Goku goes to Korin's tower. At first, Korin tells him to leave, being still
disappointed at Goku's behaviour last time. Goku begs for forgiveness.
Korin realizes his pure intentions and decides to forgive him. He gives him
the holy water. Goku gets killed by Piccolo, because Tenshinhan isn't there
to save him. 8 years later, Saiyans destroy the planet.
