What's up with all the Galick Gun wank lately?

Gallick Gun is hardly the only ''cool, but only to be used once'' thing that was recycled
in the series lately (cough... Mafuba... cough). AT keeps bringing back old elements,
proving it'd have been better if he had stayed in retirement.

It seems like Toei is bringing out a lot of the Attitude Era stars lately. Kaio-Ken, Galick Gun, afterimage, a whole couple episodes ripped from the Namek saga, etc. They even brought some of the Golden Age back by buffing Roshi to ridiculous levels on par with Tenshinhan.
