I was going to ask if she sounded sarcastic while saying that but then I noticed you aren't Kenshi.

Anything that doesn't involve Boo arc, Super and GT is fine to me.

Cell Arc then?

Anything after Cell regenerates from Galu's Kamehameha is cancer and should be retroactively aborted. :king :king

Even SSJ2 Gohan? :sad

SSJ2 Gohan never had a good fight really. Just a one sided beatdown and a beam struggle.

It was a badass beatdown, though. But Cell's revival and the beam struggle was a fucking huge asspull. The only good thing was Vegeta going apeshit on Trunks death.

For example, but even that arc had its problems.

Yeah I liked the design of Perfect Cell and his other forms but a guy in a cave building robots stronger than Freeza despite not spying on Goku for 5 years is too stupid. I really liked EV's idea where Gero would weaken fighters by restricting their ki to bring them down to his creations' level. It makes sense that Freeza would only be surpassed by summin Gero made after actually fighting Super SAiyans.

Also the fact that much of the drama relies on the Z-Fighters taking stupid decisions, such as them letting walk Dr Gero for 3 years because of Goku's and Vegeta's fighting boner, even though they just learned he's a danger to the world. Or Vegeta letting Cell absorb 18, which is against his pragmatic nature. Or Goku throwing a senzu bean to make things fair.

Among others.

Yeah I feel like most of the Cell and Boo arcs' drama was just caused by Vegeta and Goku being stupid because of LOLSAIYANS, another reason they lacked tension compared to previous arcs where the villains actually posed such great threats that the heroes had to get plot breaking boosts to keep up.

To be fair, things like Hyperbolic Time Chamber Namekian fusion and SSJ2 are plotbreaking.

The fact that those things were pretty much at the heroes' disposal from the start makes them more underwhelming though. Well except SSJ2 I guess but it's basically just Gohan's potential from the previous arcs.

Piccolo and Kami was a good one tbh because it was Piccolo closing the circle and turning into the original his original self again, but Piccolo and Nail was a hell of an asspull. But that's what Dragon Ball is about, right?

How is Piccolo and Nail an asspull? If a Namekian can clone himself by splitting in two it makes sense he can fuse with somebody else lol.

The situation in general is an asspull. Isn't convinient that at the moment his friends are getting stomped by Freeza he cross around Nail? Not to mention Nail should've been dead at this point.

Toriyama made Piccolo be warped to a remote part of Namek instead of straight to Dende as set up for it. Just being convenient isn't an asspull, something like there being a real power up drink when the last one was just a fake in the PD arc is an asspull. By that logic it's an asspull that Vegeta healed up conveniently when the only guy in the room was Appule's Shadow Clone no Jutsu.

Assuming we can't change any major plot details beyond a few aspects of the finale, either the Saiyan or Freeza Arcs. Saiyan Arc had good payoff in Goku's true heritage that had been given slight (though not thought out) foreshadowing in Part 1, plus stopping here wouldn't contradict Vegeta shouting about being the strongest in the Universe. Freeza Arc had the benefit of having Vegeta grow as a character and had fair payoff in it's build up and finale, even if I believe it to be executed poorly compared to the former arc (though it's problems feel like nitpicking compared to anything after it).

If we can change a lot of plot details, then a copy-paste of my post in the "what would you change in a reboot?" thread. Ends with a drastically altered Artificial Human Arc with no Shello.
