Super's aired during the Saturday Morning slot, rather than the Wednesday Evening slot DB/Z/GT had. It's very similar to how the Toriko anime was treated, wherein they only started adding small amounts of blood after 100+ episodes. Still doesn't make much sense when Toei also air One Piece in the same slot, yet keep the blood the same as the manga.

I personally don't care about the absence of blood as long as the action is good. But damn, there was this scene in Magic Knights Rayearth (kids anime) where the chick got impaled through her shoulder and as expected there was a ton of blood. 90s anime just didn't give a fuck.

I do, especially how Vegeta bleed a lot after Freeza killed him, it helped the drama even more intense but the society is just too sensitive about this stuff.
