I’m going with Vegeta vs Cell. Vegeta was so strong that Cell transformed and 16 thought Vegeta was still stronger. Trunks only has to be strong enough to one shot, which doesn’t require a large gap.

I think Trunks is right in the middle between Gohan and Goku. 1.1x for each.

I personally have Grade 2 Vegeta's gap over Semi Perfect Cell greater because he tanked FP Semi Cell's attack but realistically, it could be the same. Trunks can one-shot Mecha Frieza without using his full power. It's uncertain whether or not Vegeta could do the same to Cell but Cell is just extremely durable in general.

Yardrat Goku's gap is bigger. Trunks is hardly different from Gohan whereas Goku surpassed the rumors Trunks spoke about.

100% Mecha Freeza is somewhere around 66%-75% of SSJ Trunks, and I imagine Full Power Semi Perfect Cell at 60%-70% of USSJ Vegeta. I would still give this to Vegeta VS Cell.

By chance, do you think that within the series the multiplier varies a bit?

I mean for example, Vegeta powered up any amount in his 1st fight against Goku. I think Vegeta's magnification wasn't even 1.1x. At another point in the series, that same power increase would have been more than 1.1x.

What do you think?

I think 1.33x is enough to one shot, though I'm leaning back towards 1.5x since I'm not bound by Freeza > Base Saiyans gaps anymore.

@Goku9001 how do you think Trunks would take a punch from Freeza? I think it would be very similar to Vegeta vs 19/Cell.

Future Trunks was only slightly stronger than One-Armed Gohan. Goku's gap is bigger.

I got to thinking that the gap between Goku SSJ (Post Yadart) over Future Trunks SSJ, must be similar to the gap between Future Trunks SSJ over Future Gohan SSJ, since after all, Future Trunks SSJ was confident in defeating Androids that they had killed Future Gohan SSJ.

That Future Bulma says that there is not much difference between the two contradicts Future Trunks SSJ's confidence in defeating the Androids.

Goku SSJ (Post Yadart) > Goku SSJ (Rumors) >= Future Trunks SSJ > Combination of Android Futures (Less than half) >= Future Gohan SSJ (2 Arms).

Nah. Trunks was explicitly stated to be not that different from Gohan. In contrast, Trunks has hope after fighting Goku. Goku's should be a bit larger.
